Lindsey simply didn't care. Winning was less important to her than the chance to design and launch her own product. Her ambitions were that something she came up with could go places out of the confines of the show. Her teammates were irrelevant to her (it is a dog-eat-dog environment after all). Paul didn't have any real experience or talent. God knows why he ended up on the show (thin on applicants that year??). In the boardroom he was just trying to save his skin as best he could.

I don't think it's 'snake in the grass' at all. If two of my employees are in a relationship I'm happy for them and wish them the best. If part of their relationship involves bunking off, ignoring their work or reinforcing each others' bad decisions to the prejudice of other employees then of course it's an issue that management has to address.

Katie still doesn't get that her and Paul allowing a relationship to interfere with tasks was a perfectly valid complaint. Adam was botching things the whole day: From him "going along with Paul" with the lie/excuse that "I'd never gone camping", to spending a bulk of money on a hideous banner, to meandering around with the cooking device that Kristina solved by speaking with a local restaurant. @jameshitchen8250
@jameshitchen8250 9 жыл бұрын
+RealityCheck6T9 I thought that too and came to a conclusion: from the clips that were shown I'm positive Lindsey was voting as well, and that's what skewed it. There are six members of the team around the table including Lindsey, each member has 100 points to play with, and she reveals that the final scores are out of 600. We see two people put 20 for Secret Signals, and if Lindsey put 100 for her own thing (which she probably did) then the other three members averaged 40:60 each. If it happened like this, then it was an even stupider move than it looks now.
@RealityCheck6T9
@RealityCheck6T9 9 жыл бұрын
James Hitchen Quite, although the stupidity lies with the three members who gave secret signals 40%. It's like you say there's no other explanation. I imagine they were all trying to be nice and political by saying they only preferred the other idea by 60% to 40% and hoping that would swing it. Not that it matters since the team leader didn't give a damn how they voted

if your looking for the army's finest, don't look for it at the officer school, the best come from the ranks from promotions, also look at the para's,SAS, Royal Marines and SBS for the best. most officers who come straight out of officer school are useless, just good for barking simple orders, or repeating better orders from more skilled men. you need to look for actual battle experience for real talent.

Lindsey comments after she been fired were that you should make a decision a stick with it! If it was the wrong call then its the wrong call according to her She also said if you're working for someone you can't sack someone when they make a wrong decision, she thinks if you invest in someone you may as well keep them because they've learnt something and their a better employee after that! My thoughts when she said that were, "Alan Sugar isn't investing in you he's interviewing you there is a massive difference and you messed up the task by not listening to anyone including the consumers!" "You made all the wrong decisions, you cost the girls the task, and now you must pay The Ultimate Price for your mistakes!!!"

British cheese can be good quality and while risky could have worked very well had they not gone for the cheapest option available. The failure was in the implementation rather than the idea.

I would be worried if Lindsey was selected to carry out interviews, it would be evident that she would go in her gut feelings then factual information of the candidates abilities.

what relevance did making a bloody bake bean cooker have to the task? its not like they can sell them for people to then take home and use, because then theyre just selling baked bean cans with sausages beside them!

lordlossize GG he was trying to fry the sausages as quickly as possible without spending a lot of money, which was completely illogical considering that they bought a lot of cheese and couldn't sell much of it
