Official WASABI Moderator: UV lights are typically only applicable to filters that have them integrated for the sterilization purposes of bacterial, algae and parasites. UV lights aren't typically used inside the actual aquarium in fresh water setups. Or are to referring to a full spectrum LED?

Never tried so hard to grow a plant ( low tech) ever. I found it likes iron,NEVER MOVE IT if its happy.Give it a current helps and if cyanobacteria turn the leaves a dark brown? Treat with either Bluegreen slime killers or Erythromycin. I did,and never changed any other water parameters and my large aquarium has just began a flush in all plants..like I had fertilized it. All good signs of a healthy tank returned. Just by killing off BGA.
