One key feature this bike has is it has RAM air-intake and NOBODY offers this in this sub 500cc segment. I'm just surprised to see people who post reviews on KZbin are unaware of it. Also Aprilia didn't advertise it my brother works on the assembly line for this bike that's why I know this.

That is cool but the power gain from ram air follows a square law directly correlated with velocity. The bike tops out at 120mph so the power gain will be negligible. Smart feature though.

This is actually great for markets like India. This is actually Aprilia's first mass produced bike in India. Yes, Aprilia India does mostly 125-150cc sporty scooters with Piaggio engines. This costs significantly less than CBU units and eats up the competition in its segment.

@@jimmysandmanful I don't own one, one of my riding buddy does and it solves the break fade problem pretty much. For some reason Indian units of RS 457 comes with organic pads 😭 and they sell their own racing pads for an eye watering price If you've got EU or American units first check the pads, alternatively putting dot 5.1 brake fluid could do the trick too. From what I heard from my buddy I don't think in daily commuting you'll notice any fade unless you're breaking very aggressively, often. For track or even spirited highway riding you have to change the pads if you've got organic like us in India. Edit: spelling mistakes

Its hard to just really get how nice this bike is in pictures and videos. Go to the dealer and see/sit on one, especially side by side to the Ninja 500. The Ninja feels cheap and pedestrian by comparison. Only thing I want right now is a good tune to get rid of the freaking flat spot in 2nd gear.
@由紀-f1b28 күн бұрын
I own a ninja 500 and have been seriously considering buying rs457 instead, even though the selling price is almost the same, but lack of aftermarket parts and way less dealership makes the bike too expensive to hold for a beginner bike, you let it fall and it will cost you a LOT. The Ninja 500 is nowhere a cheap looking bike, it is a beginner sports and does the job very well, trading it in for a used rs660 after a year of riding just seems more reasonable to me. Also I just broke one of my fairing, ordered one from china, it costs me 30 Euro, instead of 350 to replace it.
