I can't seem to find any info as to whether it is weather proof. I have a shop where the roofline is such that any lock will see direct rain at times.

I found this in the FAQ section: "Is the Aqara Smart Door Lock U50 waterproof and can it be used outdoors? The Aqara Smart Door Lock U50 front panel (Keyboard) is IP65 waterproof, but the indoor panel can only be used indoors."

Brett - I bought two U50's during Prime Day. Installed one on laundry door, but after completing the installation i realized that i had inadvertently installed it at our vacation home page on the Aqara app. I tried to reset the lock, but don't have the pairing password, so I cannot reset it. Sent messages to Aqara - no response. Are you aware of how to recover or expose the pairing password so the lock can be reset? Thanks in advance.

I had butchered my door for a xiaomi smart lock (mortise) and now I can't place other locks on it that's not a mortise :( To make matters worse, it was a mija ... which I came to find out only works with chinese servers. FML. Should've waited for these locks.

Maybe some bondo and a piece of correct size piping could help patch it up to the correct size? I tried to drill some deadbolt holes bigger and they looked very rough, but somehow I made it work.
