Obviously this video was from a year ago, but I would suggest you pull your fridge out at least an inch or two, though 3 is ideal. With your fridge compartment being a built-in style precious little air is getting back to your compressor/condenser coils which will make them have to work even harder. The extra air flow can genuinely make the difference for a fridge that lives 3-5 years and one that goes 10-15. Particularly on modern units which have a much longer duty cycle. In severe cases it can even cause your fridge to struggle to maintain desired temps because its already running flat out. If space is too precious, just finding some way to get the air behind the fridge moving so it cycles out (and pulls in fresh air) will likely pay huge dividends down the road. Best of luck.

As long as you have a good antenna and a newer TV, Tablo works great. The record quality is better than expected. Using WiFi is good but I have a wired connection. This prevents all buffering during shows. I am more than satisfied.

Yes you set it up with the Tablo app on a phone or tablet, then you can watch and set recordings from the app on the phone or TV.

Thanks but I FINALLY figured it out. I have an Insignia brand TV with FireTV on it(android). It sent me to the Amazon website on my PC to download the free Tablo app. Under account settings on the TV click the "sync Amazon" button and the Tablo app is now among the apps. I never could get the app on my phone to connect either by Wifi or ethernet cable.

I have a Deco X55 which I'm going to be replacing with a better model (BE63). One of the things that concerns me even in seeing this in your video is the speed between the router and hubs is what seems like slow speed. Fluctuating between maybe 1.7 Mbps down to speeds at Kbps. What's the deal with these slow speeds, and is there a way to get those speeds faster?

The problem is my jurisdiction's residential code requires one be installed in every sleeping room, in every room outside a sleeping room, and one per floor. That means I need 12 of them! That gets very pricey.

I haven't tried this specifically but you can create scenes in the app where it should be able to control them both at the same time.

Hello, I’m planning to purchase the Appek outdoor lights Pro .Have a question. Am looking at videos, but no one seems to talk about this mode. Does this light kit has the mode to turn off each individual lights and other words can i choose any individual light to be turned on and off?

Yes it does. See 21:45 where you can change each individual light. These can then be saved as scenes. I didn't show specifically how to turn of off the individual lights, but there is an eraser button and that turns the light off.

If you have about one inch over hang you would be able to put them there. If not, you may need to configure some sort of track to attach to your home and then have the lights inside it or on it.

On the Strip lights pro. Can you connect multiple light strips? I have like 250' that I need to cover. Maybe do like 125' on way then 125' the other way if 250' is too long. Thanks

The max it can go is 200', so it would be best to get a 150ft set and a 100 ft set, or another 150ft set so you have some extra strings. Then they can be grouped in the app and controlled together.

Not sure if you are still monitoring this video but I have a question if you are- I want to add a mesh wifi system to my house and I am currently on the Verizon Fios G3100 Router/Modem combo. Can I simply use a switch between the Verizon G3100 and the mesh satellite or will I have to make some setting changes?

Brett, I was considering permanent lighting from a nationwide company but the cost for a two story home was 4200.00 😮. I opted for these e22’s from Eufy, for a price tag of 350.00. Help!!! I have a Samsung Note 20 ultra, and I uninstall the Aleza app and re-installed it again, but no luck. To begin with, the home page doesn't look at all like the one you are showing and is not letting me edit rooms' names or pick a custom name if I want to when setting rooms, the keyboard flashes and disappears so I can change anything and that started to happen like two weeks ago. Thanks

Very odd. The app has changed since I made this video so It will look a bit different but you should see a Light bulb at the bottom row. If you click on that that, you should see the groups at the top and can click to add or edit them.

I use my Google remote to control TV and adjust soundbar volume. When I turn on the TV with my Google remote I would like it to turn both devices on. But I can only find where it can only be set to turn on one or the other. I have to keep my soundbar remote handy only to turn it on.

This should be possible if you program the Soundbar in the Google TV remote settings. You might also check if your TV and Soundbar have CEC turned on which allow them to talk to each other and can turn each other on/off.

@TechWithBrett I did the setup through the Google remote but the only option for power on/off is for one device or the other. I have an older model Sharp tv and a new Samsung soundbar. I would love to upgrade to a new Samsung tv but the old 65" Sharp still works great. Thanks for your video.

Ok, double check to see if these settings are on for the different devices: Anynet+ (Samsung) and Aquos Link (Sharp). It may be that the TV is too old.

Yeah, it's just too old. It's an Aquos Quattron 3D. I bought it back when they first came out and it was over $5,000. And I haven't plugged it into the internet in over 10 years. The Sharp internet went through Sharp's servers directly. I use it strictly for DVD and Chromecast.
