I love how much tokusatsu influence there is in this pilot. Aside from the Ultraman clips used, The Aquabats are clearly imitating Kamen Rider attacks and poses... and I love it.

If you research it he wanted to do a show from the beginning pretty much, but it didn't get signed and thrown in the garbage by producers they decided to wait and make the show later. I've read that its never been released so idk if this is it or not. Sure seems like it would be from hat I've read.

At 2:50 it was Cyclopsis, the character they used in live shows that Muno was based on (Brobee was also based on a character named Weedy the Broccoli Bee) and the song is "Sequence Erase" from their album The Aquabats vs. The Floating Eye of Death. You're welcome!

The thing that I really love about this attempt at a show featuring "The Aquabats" is that it is a throwback to a genre of TV that quite literally hasn't really been duplicated since the late 60s to early 70s. If you watch the old Sid and Marty Kroft kids shows and Ultraman, you will see what I mean. The Supershow is pretty strong, but seems to be more winking at the Power Rangers and Batman

oh please you see super sentai became power rangers and kamen rider became as masked rider this show was cleary ment to be a american parody of tokusatsu television shows but if you been to a aquabats show you see some of the villans are the aquabats villans (pumpkin face,powdered milkman,silver skull,the mauler,etc) fox family originally showed interest in this project until one year later fox family went bankrupt and disney bought fox family and scrapped the aquabats! in color! show.
