Nice puzzle! Managed 2:58 on computer, fairly pleased with myself! The key with aquarium puzzles is generally to look at the rows, since in any shape, a row has to either be entirely shaded or entirely unshaded. They're quite simple to solve once you familiarise yourself with the logic (and if you get stuck, it's very easy to do a quick bifurcation).
@freddiehand65515 жыл бұрын
BTW, please do upload Hideaki's solve of the Japanese Sums! It was mindbogglingly quick: I'm fairly certain that Ken Endo and Kota Morinishi were only halfway through the puzzle when he finished. Helps to be a kakuro and killer sudoku master, I suppose.

6 and a half minutes. I had seen this puzzle type once before but never tried because the explanation of the rules was super confusing, but it was a nice and simple here. My main method of solving was using math to figure out which combination of blocks a row or column could use, since it's always the entire row if it's filled, (and columns always fill downwards), which made it very restrictive

Got this in around 16 minutes. Started with the bottom row and mostly worked my way up as that seemed to make sense in a 'gravity' puzzle, but other than that I can't really explain or understand how I solved it. I just...did, on some intuitive level. Intriguing! Would enjoy something like this again. :) Not using blue for the "water" in the aquarium is one thing, but it always cracks me up and confuses me that in these vids red is used for "right" and green for "wrong/nope cant go here".. XD

Took me about 12:30 and I'm surprised I was able to solve it so quickly. This is a neat puzzle, although I always find it easy to lose track of where exactly the region borders are. It took me a little bit to realize/remember the W is one region and I could treat the three spokes in row 3 as a single region for logic purposes. That was what really finalized the solve for me. quick edit: I wish I could put custom puzzles into your web app, it's a really convenient way to solve puzzles and it would be nice if I could use it to work on puzzles even if I found them somewhere else.
