I'm sorry "the arcade guys" , I know some of you, but the website says $3,310 for this machine with a raspberry pie and a led TCL tv? Anyone would be insane to buy this build. Please anyone from "the arcade guys" tell me where the $3310 price comes from using a $80 raspberry pi and a Bestbuy TCL 43inch led tv which a 43inch 4k smart roku TCL tv costs $219 right now. So they are charging over $3,000 for labor, artwork, and their encoders and buttons? Get a Rec Room Masters 32inch cabinet, (which hardware wise this machine cant compete with at all), and get a Arcade-One 20TB hyperspin build. That raspberry pi 4 cant even play Xbox360 or Xbox live games perfectly or nintendo switch games. But even worse all the actual PC windows games mk11, and every other pc game that's amazing on a cabinet.

Yeah that price is absurd for the hardware lol. A 500 dollar at games legends cabinet can run about 70 percent of these games (it can't do 3d games well)

In my opinion. 3K isn’t bad for that build. Can you build it cheaper yourself? Maybe, but this is a business. In order for these guys to pay their employees, keep the doors open during slow times, and provide good customer service requires them to charge rates like this. And quite frankly, I’m willing to support a business like this because I think they’re important to the industry.

@@loytowse8140 so you're ok with paying 10x what something is worth dollar wise just because s company might have good customer service (we don't know these people personally or how they treat their employees) I'm sorry alot of us aren't willing to willingly get bamboozled for low end hardware just because the company needs to pay its employees man . No disrespect I get what you're getting at but that price to performance ratio isn't there on this one

@loytowse8140 , yeah I have a new rec room masters cabinet which comes with 1000000% better controls, 80k games, and it took 4 of us just to move it because it is made of real materials. So yes I can build it better myself . I built my vpin by hand and it blows any company in America or Australia away. But I support this company because it's American and I always will.

Unfortunately my cabinet from them isn’t super great, I love it still but mine had a lot of issues such as , button placement, wrong button colors, ball tops falling off/ cheap buttons, not all games work and the control board isn’t centered. Not to mention shipping was a nightmare and I asked for a coin door and they forgot to add it but still sent me one

Very awesome retro setup for someone who loves the older games and wants to play them. I got older parents and they have been searching for the original Donkey Kong, is that game on the emulator built in this? Thanks Cody for sharing your experience with this product!

Thanks for your detailed review! A sub par like gun experience plus inability to save or load is a hard pass for me on this. Hopefully in the future they can change both of these things because this would definitely be something I consider purchasing.

Ultimate? ha. no my friend.. just no... Static marquee, boring. a raspberry pi? 17,000 games? weaksauce.. try a system with a modern intel, 4070, 43"Oled, bigbox Launcher front end and over 80,000 games and then maybee you can talk. :)
