Where does Jesus Christ tell us to stand with those suffering because of war ? If we followed the commandments we would love our neighbours as ourselves and not commit murder. There would be no war. This is Jesus message. He did not come to replace the old covenant, but remake it. The priest blessing army's makes no real sense. If we follow the commandments. These people would not suffer. Soldiers would not be returned in boxes.

Its a book that very few take literally, an it would be extremely difficult too. I would argue your not intended too.
