This song BELONGS to Thirteen, this is absolutely incredible And I absolutely agree with your headcanon about Bill being a big reason she was so distant with this round of companions, you are so right about that Both lyrics "Ive been the archer, I've been the prey" and "Who could ever leave me darling, but who could stay?" feels like it was written about the Doctor as a character, but the somber and vulberable tone of this song makes it hit so much harder with Thirteen specifically Fantastic job on this edit!!!
