I admit I was shocked and a little disappointed that there’s no going back to access lost information, but I’m honestly really impressed hoyo has come this far. I don’t think there’s ever been such a large change such as this to the game itself, however the results of the quest make it feel more fitting this way than infuriating, and actually lets you feel the effects of events in the world. This entire archon quest was amazing and truly one of the best so far, and the attention to detail hoyo has put in small things like this really makes me appreciate its world building through story.

Iirc, Irminsul uses memories, not knowledge, so even if traveler convinced someone, it shouldn't be an issue. They would know about it, but that's knowledge, not memory. They still wouldn't actually remember it themselves. Edit: OK I'm probably wrong

If you play the "Varuna-Gatha" questline they actually note her out as the "Greater Lord Rukkhadevata" and not as the "Lesser Lord Kusanali" so they could possibly remember her. She knew unless the world forgot her they'll never accept nahida aka lesser lord kusunali.😔even tho they're the same person it's still kinda upsetting how she was crying for her other self and how everyone forgot about her as if she never existed 🥺hope she now finds peace Edit: I saw a bit of an argument here. I think some of you are confused. Don't worry. Lemme help you understand better. In the lore rukkhudivata used her power to help the king deshret stop the negative effects of the forbidden knowledge or whatever they called it. That knowledge started causing so much havoc and almost made the desert inhabitable. If it weren't stopped it could've destroyed sumeru and everything. She used too much of her powers to do it resulting her to shrink into the form of a little child. Since she used too much power and lost her physical form naturally she lost her memories and wisdom too causing people to think her as a new archon. So they named her lesser lord kusunali. And the scene you guys keep mentioning is a part of her past memory that she might have left somehow before lossing her power and physical form. Just like makoto did for Ei before dying. Imagine you got a chance to meet your younger self or maybe older self. Now you two might have a different personality and there might be many differences between you. But does that mean you two are different person? No right? That's how it is. Hope there's no more confusion.
