If i had to speculate, I would say the reason they leaned into Mav's main dps side instead of her off-field side is because Xbalanque will ACTUALLY be the ultimate support and Benny replacement. They are flipping the Fontaine script.

@chuslette xbalanque is akin to Neuvillette, actually. He is the Pyro Sovereign, and we all know how bonkers Neuvillette is.

@@tweas1eilsort of. The Pyro Sovereign never actually died. We will kill him in 5.3 with Mav in the Night Kingdom and (huge speculation) somehow Xbalanque will be reincarnated as the next dragon Sovereign.

The Best Almost Archon Team is AFK FURINA TEAM with Furina, Nahida (Gilded Dreams DPS), EM raiden, Baizu(Deepwood) It kills Anything. Also My nahida's Tri karma DMG is 74k every 2.5s And She is C1.

I run Venti, Furina, Raiden, Baizhu and I stomp all content currently. Dps Venti with Furina buffs and off field action and Raiden hyperblooms wrecks anything. If needed I just swap Raiden for Bennett if it's an electro domain or something.

@TheGenshinIdiot Thank you, I have Polar Star on Venti and I can just cycle his attacks then spam the basic attack for endless hyperblooms. Not many enemies last long against that. 🍃🌊⚡🌱

My Raiden was on EM build from dendro. I farmed emblem domain for unhealthy amount of time. For IT I just quick equipped her with emblem. PJWS and without Bennet yelan Furina and Jean she popped of really strong. I forgot that she can hit qiuite strong. Not like new gen chars but still. Crit on her first slash is very cool.

No hate of course but I don’t get why people don’t want mavuika to be better than Arle and if you’re playing for meta then I don’t think you should be complaining because there will always be power creeps and stuff. But other than that it just like play who you want it doesn’t matter who’s stronger.

Well its more because Arlecchino getting power crept would mean that Pyro archon also isnt as great of a support probably. Also I like knowing my Arlecchino is the best pyro dps because its nice.

@ oh that makes sense she’ll probably be good dps mid support like the opposite of Raiden without c3 but I’m kinda fine with that because I only really use Navia. My friend never builds her supports and does like 10k on Arle with the best stats so I could see how Mavuika support level would be disappointing

You could still use Proto. Amber on Nahida and/or switch Furina to Pneuna mode every other rotation for the fanfare generation.

Don't know if you follow the leaks and stuff but just for a context mavuika right now is better arlecchino but a lot more restrictive with some off field capabilities ( xangling side grade probably)

So literally the only way I pull for Mavuika at this point is if she does more single target damage than mualani frontloaded single target. If not it’s a no go 🙅.

He said that Hu Tao has been power-creeped and asks why anyone would use a weak character. He said, 'Just use Arlecchino.' But if Mavuika ends up power-creeping Arlecchino, I wonder what he will say. He claims to love Arlecchino, but will he say, 'Arlecchino is trash, goodbye'? Or will he contradict his previous statements and start badmouthing Mavuika for reasons unrelated to her performance? Well, I don't think Mavuika will become that strong, but lol, we will see.

I dont think ive called Hu Tao trash, ive called characters like Ayaka and Ganyu trash because they are way worse now but Hu Tao has kept up. If the pyro archon comes out and is a dps who is stronger than Arlecchino, thats wraps for my relationship with Arlecchino. When I say "I like using strong characters" I mean it.
