One of the best presentations I've seen online. May I say one thing, as a kiwi in NZ; not all of us gave up our core rights. Many of us made a stand, fought & protested for our rights & our Nation. We continue to do so, in spite of the crowds who fawn & adulate, having fallen for Personality Politics. We continue to do so, in spite of being vilified, segregated, fired, bankrupted and injured. The world is beginning to see, or at least get glimpses of the current despairing state of our once haven-like country; we just wish many many many more New Zealanders would too! (apologies...I said more than "one thing")

I'm not vaccinated and felt the brunt of the attempted implemented 2 tier society . I have displayed courage, in the face of the rise of authoritarian tyranny. For this i am punished, for being courageous in the face of ridiculous, illogical, irrational, nonsensical, damaging measures that tried to segregate me and others inside our own society. I say hell no, enough. People have suffered severely because of these measures and power grabs, total government overreach. Thank you to the ardern government for inspiring me to speak out and be brave, to take a stand for my values as a human and for others. I don't have all the answers but I'll tell you this, we arent ever giving up or going away. My freedom is NON NEGOTIABLE.

The part that hurt me the most as a 50yr old white guy was that our last D-day vet begged to die as he sees everything his generation did for us being completely pissed on and disrespected. He said they all died for nothing, It's only because of these vets, we have fundamental safeguards for humanity like the Nuremberg code of ethics & our bill of Rights here in NZ and others around the world. The Race part of this is complete bullshit as it ends up hurt everyone no matter of their Race within NZ and is disgusting. She's trying hard to break the One Country One People mentality most Kiwis have in NZ, We built this country together for all our races,, So why can't we highlight that fact instead of trying to divide the nation. Education is a Massive issue in NZ & sadly has been weaponized as they state Maori are doing worse than the other races, Which I say is bullshit as every race is being failed by our Public system, So how about we make one system that benefits all. The One thing that worries me is Public Assents and safeguards protecting them from Government needs massive focus in my point of view as we need to lock these down for future generations of Kiwis. I'll shut up there for now

A brilliant, comprehensive and honest analysis of what's been happening in New Zealand under Labour and Jacinda Adern. I agree with those before me, who've suggested every Kiwi should watch this. One answer to New Zealand's problems Dr Hartwich failed to give, is the option of moving to Australia. I expect if Labour gets in again in next year's election, the bright and financially independent will sell up and move to Oz. Time to get rid of socialism, leftist and liberals. It's get some common sense back into New Zealand politics. Vote National, and if don't like all that they offer, then vote Act.

I liked Muldoon. He made mistakes and I grant that but he was a patriot despite his flaws. He did what he believed to be in the best interests of his country. This Labour Govt and Ardern in particular do what they do to remain in power, garner popularity and appease a minority and to hell with the country as long as she gets her dose of international media attention for her tilt at the UN leadership role, supported by Helen Clarke. That I believe personally is her ultimate goal and if destroying and dividing NZ is a way to get there then she will do it. She is in for the "short haul" not the "long haul".

Excellent presentation. NZ is lucky to have Oliver Harwich caring enough to criticise so harshly. More power to him and the few others who are vocal on this as its going to be needed. Take careful note Australia. There are structural differences in Australias favour that hopefully hinder such extreme and dangerous reform but its still primarily in the hands of a population that needs to be more broadly equipped to understand this and wanting to be fully engaged. The post election conformity and acceptance here in Australia, seemingly building into hubris in many quarters worries me immensely with its frighteningly familiar feel.

Thank you for this for this fantastic talk. Here in New Zealand the changes are becoming more apparent daily in regards to Maori , Shure a bit of culture is fine, very colourful and adds interest, but the degree in which NZers are having to adapt and digest Maori culture is too over the top . Maori are a small group of people who were part of the early settlement of many different races to come to these shores. The Maoriori , the Chinese the Spanish and the list goes on, but they are not truly indigenous of this country. The Maori were canabals and war mongering individuals , the European settlers showed that a more peaceful coexistence was possible, and it has worked up until the Ardern Government came into power. This Government has allowed a small minority of people to adopt a victim attitude and that all their problems have been caused by colonisation, and that we the non Maori are going to pay for it. People are leaving in droves to live in other more hospitible Countries ,Personally l do not blame them. This country has gone rotten starting from the top.God help us all.

I hate wokeness a great deal, but this is cringeworthy. The Maori culture developed in NZ, nowhere else. Ardern used White Island as a manufactured crisis. It was a tragic accident of nature which affected a small number of victims. It was not a national crisis like an earthquake. Ardern used it to grandstand on the national and international scene. She did the same thing with the Grace Millane murder (a young British tourist) a year earlier, and she has the audacity to apologise on behalf of NZ for the actions of one individual murderer, so she could grandstand on the international scene. In fact it was again terrible bad luck for this young tourist who had arrived the day before to date a complete stranger she had met online who turned out to be a murderer. The tourism industry was not responsible, NZ was not responsible for the actions of one individual. NZ police did an excellent job of solving this relatively easy crime, gathering evidence and charging the suspect. The rest was pure Ardern theatre. She was a good crisis leader when she visited the CHCH mosque and wore a scarf, which is the respectful thing to do when visiting people in their place of worship and in mourning, and at the memorial. But she did not lead the country's response. NZ as a whole was horrified by this crime perpetrated by a foreigner, and mourned with the victims' families. NZers are compassionate, she didn't make us that way or lead us to care about innocent victims. We've always been perfectly capable of doing that. In fact, NZ is exceptionally good at collective mourning, probably due to our Maaori roots. Again, she used it to grandstand on the international scene, flew to Paris to hobnob with heads of states and tech magnates to set up an internet censorship policy. She used her standing to hide the abject failure of the Police's firearms licensing process which allowed a foreigner with no family in NZ, no work history, no referees who had ever met him in real life to get a firearms licence after spending only 2 months in NZ. Here's some of Ardern's genius before the mosque shooting... www.stuff.co.nz/national/christchurch-shooting/111438784/changes-to-gun-law-overseen-by-jacinda-ardern-described-as-crazy

Oliver presented very well. From the comments, it is apparent that people on both sides of the Tasman are aware of what is happening. Nothing will change until Jack (Jacinda Adern), Wille (Jackson), Fat-boy-slim (Grant Robertson), and Chippy (Chris Hipkins) feel the pain. If the don't suffer the consequences of their decision making you will see no change. Because they are not affected they behave as all narcissists do. "No pain, no gain" "If they don't feel the pain, there will be no change (gain)." NZ's Governor General (Cindy Kiro), and not in isolation, the other 120 MP's included, Judiciary, Executive, and Legislature are complicit in this malfeasance. KZbin as well, if this doesn't get printed. If it is not today, or tomorrow, eventually, even those that refuse to accept reality, will realise there is only one answer. 1789

@@cherylreid2964 Agreed as Neo-Liberalism was/is this new world order of multi-national corporatism which seems to have characteristics of top down autocracies. The terrible destruction of indigenous industries in the UK and US and wholesale transplanting of those into China was hugely destructive on the social fabric of old industrial companies. There was no need as China could still have industrialised to 'feed' it's own enormous population. In every case whatever the politics or economic model it/they must take into account that there are people involved. Things like CRT have taken hold in a moral vacuum. I do recall arguing with someone back in the 1990s where they were asserting that morals are not important, where things are made is not important and poor people are a hindrance.

All Ardern’s policies are based in communism, the Maori stuff is one form of intersectionality as is the alphabet bs we also get rammed down our throats. Research communism you’ll find an Italian Communist calked A Gramski. In the early 1900’s he created the system of intersectionality, specifically to bring down western society, so communism can be inserted into peoples lives surreptitiously. It’s working, as most fools are oblivious of the historical fact. The old term was divide and conquer.

@@cherylreid2964 Again, the standard reply of someone who refuses to acknowledge the truth. Maori history itself tells us that they migrated to New Zealand and they are very proud of that fact. It also tells us that they were not the first peoples here. That means they are not indigenous to New Zealand. What Eddy has stated is fact, what you state is emotional nonsense. I wish people like you would wake up to reality before you and your ilk totally destroy the country. The division destroying this country is that caused by the Labour government through blatantly racist policies than are systematically breaking down our democratic systems. Appointing people to roles and giving them undue influence over all others based on their colour is as racist as it could possibly be. People violently opposed the very same thing in South Africa, yet you simply roll over and let it happen here. Absolute madness! How can you be so blind?

I have watched this video and I have read every comment. Yes the speaker is foreign. Yes he has a different viewpoint to some of those who have commented below. Here's what I am seeing. And it's not just as a result of the video. Western culture generally, is on the decline. I believe in this area, New Zealand is leading the way. Our energy policies regarding fossil fuels are premature given tat we have yet to build out any viable way to recharge all of the clean green new infrastructure. Any nation that does not have energy independence is doomed to suffer at the hands of those who do. Look no further than Germany and their dependence on Russian gas. When you combine that with the lowest productivity rates in the OECD you're on a hiding to nothing. If you were given a description of a country that exhibits all of the symptoms described in the video, would you want to live there? I think New Zealand should prepare itself for the next Great Migration. Away from these shores. New Zealands loss will be the worlds gain. And for the record, yes I count myself amongst those who will leave. I will take my money, my wealth and my experience with me.

One of the many pathetic aspects of this Govt is that they now require Councils to implement the "Principles of the Treaty", which are not actually known what they are. There is no obligation for any non-Govt department or entity or business to have any obligation to the Treaty. The Treaty was with the Crown, end of debate. As for the claim that Sovereignty was not conceded by Maori, that is totally incorrect. Under the same International law that states the Treaty is a legal document, it also states that if a Treaty is not ratified then that treaty is only legal if Sovereignty is ceded. The Treaty was not ratified. Source is from the "Laws of Government in New Zealand" written by numerous NZ lawyers and law professors. I printed the first edition over 20 years ago and it made fascinating reading.

I learned more about what is really happening here in this presentation than I have in the past several , from the Dominion Post, the capital city's newspaper. I knew Three Waters was awful, but as always, it is bureaucratic fine points that deliver the undiluted poison. And the 40% figure for functional illiteracy and innumeracy - well, that's up by around ten points from when I last calculated those metrics from a PISA report more than two decades ago (the performance measures are much harder to decode than they used to be). Which is one of the cardinal reasons why the current regime is not subject to proper scrutiny. The general lack of awareness about how bad things are becoming will not broadly register until catastrophic levels of damage have been done. We are turning into a peasantry. But, of course, a peasantry with the ability to speak a couple of hundred words of Maori.

Who are these people who live in dark shadows with an apparent huge influence to bring forward for public approval a show pony prime minister with a feel good demeanor, of a popular school head mistress, like its she that knows best for everyone - maybe that is the role of leadership? Yet, when alternatives are considered the choices are few as are our country's great leaders. Now, it's lawyers and economists, corporate types who know the cost of everything and the value of nothing. As the general population becomes an irrelevance courted only in the few weeks before election day, the self interest and parochialism of candidates, each three years, is sickening and leads to even more cynicism and disengagement from the processes as each election looms large each three years.

The most houses NZ ever built was 34 thousand in one year in the early 70’s. This was achieved by mainly simple homes mass produced in factories then transported to site. This from the NZ initiative report, which I used as research for a Unitec paper. 100,000 was a joke of a suggestion, everyone knew it. But as bad as labour is as government, National is in opposition and didn’t know how to attack labour successfully from the opposition position. The biggest issue as alluded to is the Ardern “Be kind”, Government. Ripped up the 1990 human rights act. Where it states...No person shall be forced to take a medical procedure. Yet the vaccine was made compulsory, mandate isn’t a choice. People don’t realise how dangerous that precedent sets.

It has left us without the inherited experience of persevering though a time when the future isn't certain. Thanks Oliver, I'm a Kiwi and live in NZ and this is by far the worst PM & government NZ has ever had. The priority under this government is to roll out as much policy as possible to determine your rights & funding based on your by chance partial ancestry (Apartheid = where a minority race under government policy has superior treatment). The majority of foreign press rate her on her personality and not delivery. For more than three decades, the Swiss Institute for Management and Development (IMD) has compiled annual rankings of competitiveness for 63 of the world’s most important countries. Back in 2017 when Labour took power, New Zealand ranked #16 - ahead of Australia at #21. Five years on, New Zealand has fallen to #31, while Australia is now ranked #19. Over the past few years, NZ has plunged in economic performance, falling from 22nd to 47th place. Government efficiency has also deteriorated markedly from 7th to 17th place. Consumer confidence in New Zealand now stands at the lowest level since Westpac’s Consumer Confidence survey began in 1988. And, perhaps most damningly, for the first time, a majority has a negative 5-year outlook on the economy. We have very high inflation, more than doubled national debt, have a cost-of-living crisis and hospitals in disarray etc. Jacinda’s government hasn’t delivered anything other than empathy; which doesn’t get us anywhere.

30 % of NZers are totally stupid. It is that simple. 30% haven't got a clue. The balance are totally pissed off at the 60%.

This guy is an exception to a certain extent. Germany is in dire straits today due to their Liberal energy policies, and NZ is following hard on their heels.

YOU TUBE scrubs any comment I make....theyre doing this across the board.....the You Tube executives should pay for interfering with free speech. If youre well informed you should know YT is owned and governed by a specific ethnicity.

No written (entrenched or ingrained) constitution, one of three (3) countries in the world to not have one, the other two (2) being England and Israel and what makes things different here in New Zealand is its parliamentary supremacy, with four branches of government, judiciary, legislative, executive and monarchy, where sovereignty resides in a monarch and not in the people of the land, it is in essence a democratic dictatorship, government can legislate as it pleases regardless of UN conventions on Human Rights. Peace.

Oliver summed up New Zealand's predicament's and Adern to a tee but I beg to differ on not calling the Adern government a communist dictatorship. This current NZ Labour government has successfully divided the people of New Zealand with its separatism and segregation policies. There are no coalition agreements in the Treaty of Waitangi which states that we are to be one people but the Adern government have divided the people into two races. The comments on education were precisely correct. The news media have been mangling the English and Te Reo Maori in speech and documentation such as the News and weather. We get the TVNZ Maori weather and news read entirely in Maori and the when the English news and weather comes on the presenters speak in gibberish Maori/English as a method of coercion to drum the Maori language into peoples heads which is causing more racism. As Oliver stated the majority of school leavers can't read or write the English language and can't count past the fingers on one hand so why push Te Reo Maori into children as part of this Adern Labour government agenda. To get some form of democracy back come hell, or high water Adern must go!

When talking about education.....went to a family members graduation ceremony, there were far more Pacific Islanders that graduated, than Maori. They don't seen to want to invest in themselves as much yet the majority if not all schools are so inclusive of their culture I so hope that turns around for them.

You could give Maori free qualifications in Te Reo, roll out the red carpet for them, you name it, but it doesn't matter, they would still fuck it up then blame the White man again!
