I bought one from Red Wolf. It came in 3 days which amazed me. The gun looks and feels great. It fed beautifully with my G&P mags, Magpul Mags and KWA mags. I played a full day of outdoor games with it. My first impression was very accurate, clean snap to the trigger, shoots quickly, had decent range and drew a lot of attention from the other players. Mine chrono'd in at 345-350.

Regardless if you can change the spring out I don't see why he's making a big deal on the CQB thing. It's a carbine length rifle! I can see if we were talking about the smaller one which I was kinda anticipating but it's not!

Thanks 2 this video i am now the proud owner of 2 AM-103 black Honey Badgers. Awsome guns but a massive difference in the FPS. 340 for 1 and 290 for the other. Both standard out the box with no mods. The 290 gun, although more accurate I have problems with feeding bbs from high cap mags. The Mid cap mag is perfect. Thank you RedWolf

556 x45 is the bullet that the real gun uses like the m4 and the m16

No, the gun is modeled after the Honey Badger which uses 300. blackout which is a 7.62x35mm round.

***** That makes no sense... 300 Blackout is indeed 7.62x35mm. 7.62 is the bullet diameter and 35mm is the case length. Nowhere is 300 Blackout designated as 5.56 even though they can both use the same lower receivers, mags and bolts. The Honey Badger uses 300 Blackout and cannot use 5.56 rounds unless the gun is modified.

Yes the kind with the wheel is called a high cap ( this is what you want) the kind with no wheel which holds around 100-150 is a mid cap (the kind I perfur)

Use a lower powered spring. For 320 fps i'd go with an M90 spring. This is really easy on a HB, because they have a quick spring change system, so you won't have to disassemble the gearbox.

The number in M90 or M100 etc stands for the velocity in m/s. You can convert those to fps by multiplying by 3,28. Those numbers will vary between guns and mods, but it gives you an idea. If you live near an airsoftshop you could get 3 springs in M90,M100 and M110 and return the ones that were wrong. If not, I would get an M110 spring. You can shorten the spring by cutting off a row or two. Just be sure to grind down the cut part of the spring and put the cut part towards the end of the gearbox so it doesnt damage your piston head. I got 355 fps with an M110 with a stock AM-013

You complained about the high FPS on several occasions, but never mentioned that this is an Ares,which has a very easy quick change spring. Could bring it down to 350 no problem. Also, you didn't review the programmer which allows 3 round burst programming. Fun videos, but very lacking in real information.

wtf Ares g&g have a pneumatic blow back v2 gearbox and almost everyone has a ebb v2 gearbox and you have a ebb v3 gearbox for your g36 series so why did you make a honeybadger that uses a v2 gearbox that is basically a electric bb hoses. I swear if I ever get this gun in goes a g&g v2 with blowback.
