Alex said after that last fight that he wanted to stay in his division. He said he was not going to move down and get in Strickland's way. That was followed up by asking him if he wants him to move up to HW and said he feels comfy at 205. Now people are missing what is right in front of their eyes!! What is next for him and Dana and Alex both kind of put it out there. Dana announced they are going to boxing and do it at the PI and they are in construction. So I bet Alex has been asked to fight in boxing as well or asking. Alex just made a vid around the same time that is titled something like "Is Boxing Next?". I bet he will try and stack up wins and transfer over and box when that starts. I think its not too far away since Dana announced it. He is never in a rush to give us news, so i imagine is in the works and probably been for a while. He could be a triple champ in the UFC or he could possibly still get a belt in Boxing and faster than normal. He is late 30s. I wish the best for him!!! How can anyone hate on that man!

I had Pennington winning 1, 4, 5 real time scoring. Then I went back and re-watched and round 1 was super close. I can definitely see it either way. Only a difference of a couple of strikes. Who can really determine the difference in damage of 2-3 strikes in round 1. No wrong decision either way.

He would be a good champion for the UFC because his fights are not boring & he'd have eyes from the same pool of support as Islam & Khabib previously. He'd most likely be a dominant champion if he managed to beat Alex. The styles are different, the styles would clash & make for great MMA.
