As an Oilers fan in Scotland, I was surprised at how ok I was with the defeat. Your team played their best and smashed us! It's bad enough to lose a team to relocation but to not even have a team full stop is a disgrace from the NHL who've enabled piss poor ownership behaviour. Stay strong, don't leave hockey behind, your Yotes time will come again.

Can't imagine the emotion of watching that final game. I hope that the passionate response from fans like you can help to grow hockey culture in Arizona even in the absence of your team, so at least some good can come out of this mess. As a Toronto fan, I've been indebted to the Coyotes for inspiring Auston Matthews to become a player, and though I desperately want him to be a lifetime Leaf, I would have been happy to see him finish his career with his childhood team. Fingers crossed you guys get your team back and that remains a possibility. Best wishes.

I'm from Toronto and I fully admit I used to be one of those "hockey won't work in the desert" people. Over the years I've been proven wrong over and over when it comes to the fans and the passion. While I still had issues with the Coyotes, my view shifted from "no one wants that there" to "Man I wish these owners would get their shit together". I'm incredibly sad for you guys. You deserved way better than what you got when it comes to all the ownership and arena nonsense. I really wanted to see it work and I hope you don't have to wait too long to get the team back.

From a Long Islander who almost had to watch there favorite team move to Kansas City when I was a kid, the only reason it didn’t work it AZ is because of ownership. It’s not a coincidence the second the isles got good owners they build a beautiful billion dollar arena, and go on 2 back to back ECF runs. I lived in Scottsdale during Covid. I met a whole bunch of people at bars and parties who were my age (22) and they all loved hockey and their coyotes. It really is a sad time. I hope you guys get a team back. That said the Habs do have some exciting development. Go Jets Go!

As a Rangers fan in New Jersey, it sucks that the Coyotes are leaving for Salt Lake City. I remember when the Jets left Winnipeg for Phoenix and thought that it would make no sense. After watching a game when the Rangers were in Phoenix, I was totally impressed with the strong support the Coyotes had. It was difficult watching the highlights from their last game and seeing how the fans had tears in their eyes, young and old. I wish them all the best in Salt Lake City. And if the NHL does return to the Valley of the Sun, I hope that it's not under the control of Alex Meruelo.

I feel your last video blew up because of 1. Obviously was popular subject for those that regularly have hockey videos in their recommends, but 2. It was your pure raw emotions, and ability to articulate your frustrations, disappointments, memories, and feelings so well. I was captivated listening to you a couple nights ago, and could feel your pain. Even though I never went through the same kind of emotions, as I was a young child when my Jets moved to Arizona, and I was left with mostly confusion, I could still feel the hurt that you were experiencing. I'm sorry that you and so many passionate fans had to go through this, and years of god awful ownership, and always having to be the butt of every joke from scummy NHL fans who don't understand that it was never for a lack of passion and fans, it was the people at the top the failed, and doesn't seem to care about it. I know you said that you'll likely be done with the NHL, at least for now, but I pray that isn't true. You are so well spoken, and I would love to hear your thoughts moving forward. The Hockey Guy can't carry KZbin alone. There's always room for more great voices and opinions.

Also, it angers me that the NHL weren't able to make an official announcement before the final game, because right now there's ZERO fan fair or mention from the NHL on their socials. There's nothing to commemorate the fans. It feels like an awkward secret THAT EVERYONE KNOWS but they don't want to talk about it just yet... And by doing that, yesterdays game was just another game to the NHL. Was just another end of a season for one of the 32 teams, and I find that to be incredibly disrespectful. The NHL is playing their own PR game by not talking about it, and then announcing a move after the season is done so they don't have to face the music that they were part of the problem and why a fanbase is having their team ripped away.

As a life long Coyotes fan from British Columbia Canada, I am completely heart broken. I got into hockey because of my older brother, and growing up in a small town, but now living in Vancouver, I wasn't sure which team to pick. My first name in real life is Jeremy, and my brother told me there is a player named Jeremy Roenick, and he also showed me the howl sound that is played when they score at home games. So as a kid, I quickly grew attached to the Coyotes. It was difficult back in the day to watch games due to limited coverage, but I did what I could. Back in 2020 I was finally about to go to my first Coyotes home game with my parents and brother on a trip that included a few days in Nashville (he's a Predators fan) and then a few days in Phoenix, but yeah THAT year happened and we had to cancel, literally a week before we were scheduled to leave. I was able to see a game this year back in February on Valentine's Day, and my brother and I even got on the jumbotron during a break when fans were dancing to music. We also managed to get the Kiss Cam's attention and got our parents on the jumbotron camera, lol. To top it all off, Howler just happened to be in our area so I absolutely had to get a picture with him. The team may have lost that game, but I still had an amazing time. And just like everyone else, I was crying my eyes out watching the final game and howling at each goal. Here's hoping that the Coyotes can be brought back in the future with competent ownership that isn't under AM. He apparently didn't have the money for a multitude of things during his years, so why should I even believe he will get this arena built? Plus he will have to do quite a lot to get my trust back as well as my forgiveness. Coyotes Forever!

I’ve been playing as the Coyotes in NHL 22, I was a senior in high school when that game came out, I still play that franchise save to this day and it was a kinda sad seeing the team move. I wasn’t close to a fan when I started but I guess I’ve become attached to the team in a way. Your video definitely gives a reality check for a lot of people. I don’t think most people realize how this failure falls entirely on ownership. We knew about the vote but we didn’t know about the manipulation against the Coyotes. We knew about ownership not paying rent to the arena but we didn’t know about the guy not paying TAXES. I definitely don’t think people know about hockey booming in Arizona, y’all have high school teams while I live within an hour from Columbus and there’s no high school teams except for ONE in Xenia. All I have to say is I’m sorry the hockey community did not take the situation seriously at all, it would be a completely different story if it were one of the Canadian teams

It’s just great to see a fan, especially one of a relocating team, pour their heart out on what this means to them. I’ve never experienced a relocation, but just knowing that there are genuine fans that suffer at the end of it all is disheartening. It shows the business side to a game we love. I am curious as to where you go next. If this were me and my team relocated, I may loathe the fact that another city gets my players. But it’s not the players fault. I would cheer for them in their new city because they meant so much to me. I’d like to know what you would do about cheering for another team.

I've been a Calgary Flame in Utah for 25+ years and excited, but it will be weird to have 2 favorite teams! I'd be amazed to be able to finally see the Flames against my new hometown team! Craziness! All we've had are the Jazz, so this will be super awesome. But unfortunately it's coming from tearing apart an established fanbase's team which is always a heartbreaker. Hope the Coyotes come back in the near future. It was a great last game and enjoyed seeing your guys' fanbase come together for it. Stay strong!

As a die-hard Winnipeg jets Fan. Who lived through 1996 I completely understand what you're going through and I also understand the irony... But trust me Betman wants a team in Arizona and once the NHL can deal with a different ownership and have a proper place for them to play. It will back. And better

damn as a Canadian I enjoy watching all teams I always rooted for the coyotes when they made the playoffs big fan of Shane doan they just always seemed to be a good underdog story year after year my brother back in the day had a Keith tkatchuk jersey and it was my favourite logo when I was a kid. this was tough I couldn't imagine losing our team good luck

As a Nucks fan, some of my favorite playoff moments ever was seeing those whiteouts and the fans going crazy. I think the fans have been unfairly judged as a whole during this process.
