Hi @@tonyelse1315, thank you for the kind comment! I’d love to however working full time & having a family that keeps me very busy limits what tours I can do. The tours I do help out on I will always try & put the camera on, especially routes that haven’t been covered on the channel before. I’ll do my best but feel free to check out the other videos already uploaded onto the channel.

Brilliant video, thank you for posting. No adverts, excellent. Could you tell me what the sound is when I assume the loco is coasting please? It sounds a bit like someone practicing with their drum sticks ;0) but it is obviously linked to speed and as soon as the regulator is opened the sound disappears. Many thanks.

Hi Rob, thanks for the kind comment! The sound you can hear is the loco snifting valves opening when you rightly say the regulator is closed. The easiest way to describe it is they open when steam isn’t being applied to prevent any back pressure building but when steam is reapplied, the steam forces it back into its seat to close it again and stop the noise. Hope that makes sense?
