Какие красивые, чистенькие ухоженные города! Прекрасные дома, ни одного обшарпанного фасада. Просто SUPER !!!

THANK YOU absolutely for indicating the date!!! it is so precious to situate the weather of the places and the evolution of the landscape in these historic times of climate change where the seasons are in full modification (each day of this climatic transition is a historical event, and these testimonies on the ground are precious ). THANK YOU!!! (this is so appreciated because too often the date is censored!)

What a neatly laid out, carefully marked, regimented land this is! From the wide open spaces or jumbled cityscapes of the US what a contrast.

This is such a marvelous presentation. Thank you to Andreas for the effort to record this great short line, and for the cooperative effort to show it on your site. I will definitely check out Andreas' other work, and can't wait for your upcoming video! Thank you to all the rail videographers in Switzerland, France and elsewhere, capturing what I still hope to see in person someday. ♥♥♥

Many thanks, Lori and Andreas. Another new part of Switzerland for me, and the second of Andreas's videos I've watched today. I was interested to see that at the Marktplatz stop, the signals became tram signals, not railway ones. Greetings, as usual, from Australia 🇦🇺

This is what I love about Swiss railways or light railways like tram lines is the no fencing other than to keep livestock away and nothing other than a crash barrier on corners of the road but nothing on the straight part of the line, this would never fly here in the UK because kids and drunk drivers would end on the line all the time. That and Health and Safety rules. Is this system a fairly new line, like in the last 30 years or an adaption of an older railway to tram type trains?
@lorirocks777Ай бұрын
It started off as a steam railway over 100 years ago and has been adapted a few times in the face of proposed line closures.

with that much overlap with roads and even street running, is this even a train? or secretly a tram 😅

It switches between normal train operations and tram operations. that makes it a train signal eise at least

Streetcar rail lines were often built in rural areas of Europe around 1900. The method was much less expensive than full railway lines since existing road dams could have been used for these narrow gauge regional connections. There is no specific historical link to Germany and the wars as these railway’s main purpose has always been passenger transportation.
