It is a great location - and not that widely known... though is one of the most important sites not only for Scottish geology but also in the history of structural geology.

True, it is not easy to find this place. I was watching the BBC series “Men of Rocks” at the time. In part two, you and Ian Stewart visited this site. Using Google Earth, good maps of northern Scotland, and some stills from this episode, I was able to pinpoint the exact location and actually find it later. This year I was on holiday near Ben Hope (which we were also on) and couldn't pass up the opportunity to visit this place. I know what it feels like to stand there. Even a geology layman can be endlessly excited to touch these layers with his own hands. This year we're heading to the north of Scotland again. I am so pleased to have found your site. Your videos will prepare me well for next summer there. Thank you very much for your good work and for making this all available to the public.@@robbutler2095
