This was our longest day of hiking on Arran, covering approximately 17 miles between Blackwaterfoot and Whiting Bay. We arrived at Whiting Bay quite late and it took us some time to find a good camping area. This was the final night on Arran, in the next episode we complete the circuit and arrive back at Brodick to catch the ferry.

The world is a lesser place without Andrew's travels with his trusty Banshee tent and a Sainsbury's carrier bag :( RIP Sir

Now that's what you call a better day on every level! Aside...it always surprises me that village stores on walking routes rarely carry a stock of gas canisters for those of us...I've done it too...who run out of gas en route. Great video.

Ya know what Ken??? I never even checked in the shop lol. I guess it was easier just to use Globetrotters and pay him back in installments. They prob don't sell it though.

Nice one Mr. Hill, That was a fair hike, after a late start, but it looked good enough weather. I bought loads of gas at Wilko in their end of season sale (Think it was around September) I bought mine for a £1 a can (all sizes) so it's definietley worth checking out again this year to see if they do the same sale again.

£1 per can????? Have they gone crazy!! I will certainly keep an eye out for that.

I also bought two stoves for £1.50 each and a big gas double burner stove with grill for a £5 George the Bus Pass Camper bought the same stuff as me somewhere down in England at the same prices, so they must do it in all their stores when they have a sale. Certainly worth watching out for it.

Aye it's a wee bit long, I could have cut more out but then it's wasted footage so thought I'd might aswell just leave it for all to see.

Thanks Danny, I use the Vango Sherpa 60+10, last year I had the Sherpa 65, There are much better rucksacks out there such as Osprey but it's the best I can afford at the moment.

Hi Larry, I am using Cyberlink Power director. It allows you to use a picture in picture function. I could have 4 videos playing in sync If I desired.

Hi Mr Hills, do you lose much weight when you are walking all them miles, I seem to when I'm on a long walk but put it back on soon as I get back home. Great video, good job Mr globetrotters there to keep you in the right direction lol, nice coast line. Thanks Steve.

Same here Steve, when I go out for a few days I eat less and exercise more, I start to lose weight but as soon as I return home, it's straight to Tesco to raid the pizza and Ice Cream freezer ( and I get funny looks from security with my balaclava on).

Scotland really is one big con. Black Cave isn’t black and White Bridge isn’t white. I shudder to think what tourists make of these confusing descriptions. I for one will NOT be returning. In fact I intend to write a strongly worded letter to those responsible for such misinformation. Other than that it’s a great video. Crisps on a roll. Awesome. atb.
