Yep. It's a deal-breaker for me. Wanted to get the entire line of 16 figures but seeing how Ryu, Fei Long and Chun-Li's portraits ended up I decided not to proceed.

They were going my Chun-Li's design specifically in Street Fighter 2, not necessarily how she looks in other games. That's why she probably doesn't look as refined as other figures

I love the details of the blue dress on jadas rendition but the thigh shading and anime style face sculpt on the shf is what I prefer . Awesome review btw appreciate the long video, you’re helping inform my decision before buying👍🏽

Wow, I can't believe I watched the entire video. Like the Bob Ross of action figure channels. I have the S.H.F., and already, so I am planning on adding JADA to my collection. JADA looks ok, but I don't think the texture works for Chun-li's dress. I always thought it was supposed to be silk from the art I had seen. The creases and folds in the SHF are also more my style. I am still looking forward to seeing what the JADA Chun-li can do for myself. I'm subscriber #93!

Great comparison video. Everything about the SHF figures disappoint me. I could buy all 3 regular Chun-Li, Red Chun-Li, and Pink "victory" Chun-Li for slightly more than the 1 SHF Chun-Li.

I'll be grabbing my favourites from Jada, but having the SHF reissue in hand,it's a tough choice, even with cost. The SHF looks better on the shelf, but the Jada is my desktop daily driver for posing during calls. Looking forward to Jada's Vega and Cammy. Chun was just my main in SF2 and Alpha, so I also have her Storm. They all excel in different areas, and they all have minor annoyances for play.

Same, SHF rebooting is an interesting wrinkle. One point against them that I didn't mention when making this video was aftermarket prices, so I'm curious what they'll reissue vs new figures, strictly SF6 or any SF, etc. Cammy, Ken, Blanka, and Rashid could theoretically get outfit 2 reissues, and imo it's pretty goofy to license SF6 and not make Juri. SHF Cammy with better paint and not $200 would be pretty cool, but Jada's is already looking very good. I think their Guile, Blanka, and Sagat look much better than SHF, and I was messing around with SHF Bison recently and thinking Jada's is gonna mop the floor with it. Vega is looking like a close call, but no contest unless SHF reissues him. Overall very fun, weird little competition with Jada punching way above their weight and SHF kinda half phoning it in tbh. And gets even weirder if you add Storm and AY into the mix.

I'm glad there's a much more affordable line to get the entire roster, and I'm glad they already showed the roster as that's where every other company always fails and bails. It's also cool having them Legends compatible so you can do your MvC. I would love Jada to release Darkstalkers and tap that horror line feeling since they lost Universal.

Storm looks good, I just wish the scale was closer to 1/12. They did get me for Darkstalkers Morrigan though, at least until Jada makes her.

I think the leg sculpt on the shf chun li is better except for the lack of thy swivel. That and the face sculpt seems more idk Japanese like yet pale. Vs Jadatoys legs don’t have any definition but have more articulation benefits and the face seems more Mexican like but better skin tone. Over all the Jada toys articulation and color beats shf… should of had the face sculpt and it would be perfect. Either way…. Jada wins this one.. We have to take in account that SHF brought out their version 6 years ago. I think if they did now, it would be a lot closer and harder to choose from. I wish Figma did one. U should check out Figma’s Falselander Ronin. Super dope figure.

That's a good point about SHF's age, although I still think they could have done better on SF even 6 years ago. Would love to see what they would do now, especially classic and modern looks based on the SF6 models.

Surprisingly prefer the Jada Toys Chun Li. at first i didn't like the face sculpt but the more i compare the two i just didn't like how anime the face sculpt of SHF looked. Out of these two i prefer Jada but the best one is still Storm Collectibles

If all goes well, they plan to show Wave 4 at LACC in December, and the only clue so far is it's going to get "nutty" which just makes me think either Blanka or Honda is coming

Jada takes the cake for me - what about you? I love the more vibrant colors, and I think the face portraits have more character. SHF has the nice-n-smooth import joints but let down by some limitations, especially no upper leg swivel. In current prices, it's no contest - Jada is incredibly good value while SHF is in pricey aftermarket-only territory.

I’d love a Chun-Li. I’ve never been much of a fighting game fan, but it’s hard to deny the appeal and popularity of this character. I’ve had my eye on the Jada for a while now, but there’s a new preorder out there for a repainted version of the SHF. The SHF is still gonna be 3x more than the Jada, though. That lead me to this video. I think I like the SHF head more, and I like the smoother thighs…despite the lack of thigh rotation. Still, the Jada does seem to work better and the overall proportions are more appealing to me. Even if these were both the same price, I think I’d pick the Jada.
