Still, after all these years one of my most favorite and inspiring videos. This video helped me find my way back to what I love so much... drawing and painting. Thanks Danny♥ side note: here I am 10 years later still drawing and painting and taking the journey with Danny's books and videos.

I'm in awe. Just when I think I'm pretty cool, I see this film and I think, Danny is the coolest of them all, and I should get up extra early so I can paint my breakfast before the whole zen thing goes down the pan with the arrival of the three kids.

This video still inspires me to pick up my pen or my brush and get to creating art. I have since collected a boatload of sketchbooks and other drawings and painting. I love seeing my progress over the years. Thanks Danny

Very inspiring. What a nice way to start the day. I like those humour touches. The sequencing, edition and photography of the short are also very good.

Hi Danny, I am so enjoying SBS classes. So I was just watching your video The Art of Breakfast, and at about 2:30 on the video you are looking around at various figures as if they are watching you, and I smiled with delight when I saw one that matches one I have that I got from my Grandmother so long ago. It is the girl with a red bonnet and blond hair (at least mine is blond). It hung in her kitchen (she was Pennsylvania Dutch, and my grandfather was a coal miner) for as far back in my childhood as I can remember (more than 50 years). I've wanted to draw and/or paint for a long time, but usually was too afraid - certainly wouldn't do it in public. But thanks to SBS, I feel a little braver and I'm learning and having fun. Jennifer

OMG! Great video, awkward but great. LOL I can't believe you are the author of The Creative License book. I have the book but I'll be honest, I didn't pass the first chapter(procrastination issues). Also, the Font used for the book was a bit troubling for me since English is not my first language.
