I’m waiting on my second Canemaster cane. My first one just celebrated its 25 year anniversary. I still have my Canemaster decal on my 1999 Land Cruiser, which I bought the same year as my cane. It would’ve been my lifetime cane, but I need the palm rest now. I love my cane! 😅

I ordered one a few days ago. I can hardly wait for it to come. Watching this video shows me why I have to wait so long. It will be worth it. I hope I can find someone to train me on how to use it for defense.

What a remarkable family heirloom you have! Preserving a cherished wooden cane like yours for another century requires some care and attention. Here are a few suggestions: 1. **Keep it Clean:** Regularly dust the cane with a soft cloth to remove any dirt or debris. Avoid using harsh chemicals or solvents that could damage the wood. 2. **Moisturize the Wood:** Apply a thin coat of high-quality wood polish or wax to nourish the wood and help maintain its strength and integrity. Be sure to choose a product that is suitable for the type of wood your cane is made from. 3. **Protect from Moisture:** Wood can warp or crack if exposed to excessive moisture. Store the cane in a dry environment away from sources of humidity, such as basements or bathrooms. 4. **Avoid Direct Sunlight:** Prolonged exposure to sunlight can cause the wood to fade and weaken over time. Store the cane in a shaded area or use curtains or blinds to block direct sunlight. 5. **Handle with Care:** While your cane may be sturdy, it's still important to handle it gently to avoid accidental damage. Avoid dropping it or leaning on it excessively, especially if it has delicate features or joints. 6. **Consider Display Options:** If you want to showcase your cane while also protecting it, consider displaying it in a shadow box or glass cabinet. This will help keep it safe from dust and accidental bumps while still allowing you to admire its beauty. By following these tips and treating your wooden cane with care, you can help ensure that it remains a treasured family heirloom for generations to come.

Thank you. I don't know what kind of wood my cane is made from. It is one piece and what you refer to as a J . The lower section is about 3/4 inch square and tapper up round at the top (hook). So without knowing the type of wood, is there a generic type of wax or oil I can use.

Your canes are indeed beautiful. I checked your website but unfortunately with just having SS to survive on there is no way I can afford one. I realize that your canes are worth every penny that you charge for them but many people that would like to get one just can't do it.
