Most welcome, as far as artbooks go, it isn't the best for content. If you're buying as a fan of the art alone, then there's something for you here. Unfortunately, there is no text or a good amount of unused or early designs. Depending on what you play, I can recommend books all day though!

@@TheArtbookCollector I did buy the FFXVI Postcard Book though! (It is what it sounds like, a book of postcards of the illustrations!) My only gripe is that it doesn’t have adult Joshua. 🥲

@@Kafka-KZbin I don't personally have any with lore, it's more from the dev team and artists themselves. However, those books do exist, it's worth look at things like The World of Cyberpunk 2077 and other 'World of' books. I know Nintendo do some too, including Zelda :)

I feel like for this book they could of added more per page or have added notes here and there with all the emptiness on half the pages, amazing artwork and I love Final Fantasy XVI, it just feels like there is a lot of blank/empty space in the artbook on almost ever page

That's my issue too, I hate wasted space and there's a lot here. I don't have other FF artbooks, so not sure if that's the norm

I'm glad I waited on getting this. I'm a bit disappointed it's got so much less art than previous art books, ex) Final Fantasy XIV The Art of Eorzea: Another Dawn. It's got too much white space which is a first, that I have seen, for a final fantasy art book. I might still get it just because I love the game but I'll wait for a cheaper price.

That's interesting, this is my first Final Fantasy artbook and I was disappointed too, so was thinking it might be my last. But if the others aren't like this, I'll keep an eye out for others and preview them first 😊

Too much empty space in the characters section, with the names of characters taking up an entire page. Other than that it still looks good enough!

You don't always have to play the games the books are based on if you like them enough! Some games I'm bad at, other games I think are bad, but good art is good art!
