When you resin your projects are the all under under the resin or do you have some pieces above the resin. Love the bunny.

For the most part yes because I love it when the glass is real shiny from the resin. The only time I try not to pour resin over the glass if it is a very light color glass because the glass is translucent when you pour resin over glass it becomes more translucent in the color, appears lighter, and sometimes it can even disappear, so a lot of the lighter color glass like pink if it’s a light pink I will just set the pieces of glass on top the other reason you wouldn’t pour resin over the glass is if you want to look like Seaglass so when you first tumble glass. If you do it for a week with grit, it comes out, looking frosted like Seaglassand some people like that look especially when they’re doing coastal projects so they put the resin down first in the glass on top of it. That way the glass appears frosted.

Hi I need help! What do you recommend if u paint a picture and want to add glass and resin. I have been told to wait 4 weeks or spray with sealer. This activities are to prevent yellowing of the art piece. What’s your thoughts?

As soon as the paint is dry you can add glass and resin. I am not a painter so not really an expert at sealing the paint. But It has been suggested that you should seal your paintings with a spray sealer especially if you are using titanium white in your painting. Something about a reaction with the resin will increase the speed of yellowing. All epoxy resins will yellow with time. It is a fairly slow process and is sped up by certain factors. One of the main ones is direct sunlight.
