Patience is a virtue, yes, indeed. My Mom was the most patient person I’ve ever known while my Dad was the passionate one. I’m somewhere in between. I don’t know what it’s like to live like you do, having to barricade yourself, and I give you all the props for your resilience. The people who make you jump through all the hoops and hurdles just to get help for Aidan are the same people who will have a storybook Christmas without a thought of how you are suffering. I hope they do better, for your sake and your family. Warms my heart to see you reading your Bible. I pray God’s words will see you through. 🙏🏻

i have a special needs grand and i take care of her many times, about 30 hours per week. I don't know if you have a car but you can get a handicap placard for your car for you and Aidan's car trips. Then you will have the pick of the parking lot spaces. My daughter uses hers and some nut taped a sign to her window saying she took a space for handicap erroneously!! She now has a sign "just because a person is disabled, doesn't always mean they LOOK disabled". This is just one of the ways people can be mean out there. It's an uphill battle going out in public with a special needs child. When my sister was in a wheelchair, someone kept staring and staring at her---i got so mad back then, i yelled "what are you staring at???" right in their face LOL LOL She died from brain cancer. I love your videos they are so real----AND i have been on that medicare/medicaid merry go round many times for the past ten years...the waiting is the hard part. I hope you get everything you asked for from them. ALSO, THERE is a free ipad you can get from the gov't for an autistic child. I am not sure of the avenues to use but maybe you can look into it. BTW....11:40 pm YEP..lol..that looks about right !!! And there's still things left to do....yesterday i forgot to switch wet laundry from washer to dryer, even towels....so that got re-done today.

I love the nature walks! I would love to go on one with you as often as y'all venture out. The scenery is lovely and I love the water sounds in the background. Aiden's father must have been very tall. Does he always place his hand on top of your head? It is like he is intentionally teasing you and I loved it when he refused to say good morning. I couldn't understand what he said after you got him to say it but you could tell he was teasing you when he said it. You are all in my prayers. That kid can EAT! Hey Mama. The generic Zyrtec works great and is much cheaper. It can be gotten at Wally World. Also, Spam is very expensive. You can actually get a small ham at a better price per pound. Ham keeps really well in the fridge because of the salt content. You may know all this. I am just trying to be helpful. I pray for you and your kids.....

I live in Houston and have the same type of weather you do... hot and humid or cold and humid. My daughter's condo had that moldy musty smell until we bought her a dehumidifier. It pulls about a gallon of water out of the air per day.

Allergies are tough cause they can make you sleepy and the meds make you sleepy. I have found that Allegra and Flonase Senimist works wonders for my allergies without making me sleepy.

I wonder if you need a dehumidifier to take away that musty smell. I have to run one in one room of my house or it smells terrible and I'm sure my allergies would be worse. They are around $100-$200 new, but I've seen them for $50 on Facebook Marketplace.

Hi, I am allergic to mold and I get the same reaction from allergy meds. What I started doing is taking a 24hr Claritin before bed and not only did it help me get to sleep at night it also lasted for the next day to help with allergies.

The weather here in Alabama is in the 70s down to the 30s almost to 80 back in the 30s at night. It is killing me. I had a migraine this morning that I thought was going to bust my head and it’s just the weather plus my hot flashes help either. So I understand about the weather.
