Great video from a wonderful channel. Art books have provided me a much-needed escape from real life. I have my easy chair set up with a desk, a lamp, a blanket and a cup of coffee. I spent many hours with dragons, unicorns, space battles, pixies, dark forests, giant robots and medieval knights. My art books are the best investments I ever made. I used to play this video several years ago just because the music is so relaxing. Has Whelan ever explained the recurring ammonite symbology in his work? I own a few of his art books, but can't find any commentary on it.
