You have to understand the context of why Jesus said this and who was he speaking with, and what was said prior to this. He was speaking on the essential things you need in life, clothing, shelter, and food. Not wealth or riches. Success is better defined what Paul wrote in Ephesians 3:20

This, Art of War and couple others I read annually. As a business owner when I get asked advise, I usually end up suggesting PT Barnums “A.0.M.G” . Because if you’re already a fan, it says a lot. If not it is a great little nugget to ponder. And when you realize Mr.Barnum wasn’t doing well at the time he wrote the book, he was reluctant but was convinced by friends to write a book on his knowledge. This paved the way for his comeback later in life.

I only began making an income in my mid-30s, because I married young and didn’t work til after the divorce. With 2 kids to support, and save at the same time, it took 10 years for me to have some money in the bank. What I wish I had known even 5 years ago was to put that money into real estate. I was nervous and still nervous because I’m the only breadwinner and I don’t want to be house-poor. I guess it’s all about calculated risk-taking. I get that, I think I do need to control my nonsense spending too. There’s so much to learn, one lifetime is not enough.

The investment you choose isn't right or wrong, just depends on the kind of business person you are or simply the kind of person you are. However, the end game is investing money long term creates wealth every time. Just pick what you like and understand, invest and it will pay off. A lifetime of investing for 5 mil is not hard to accrue.

This is the reason why you need to get an advisor so you don't get swindled on the market. They provide tailored advice to individuals on securities, placing them into the best of the best. There are some bad ones out there but some with the good track records can be very great

@@blaquopaque I agree. Based on firsthand encounter with one "Jill Marie Carroll" , now i have 55k in a well diversified portfolio which has grown by 3x in the past 7 mnths with compounding, venturing doesn’t necessarily boil down to money but you also have to be informed, be patient and back it up with good hands.

The first step to success is figuring out your goals and risk tolerance - either on your own or with the help of a financial advisor. If you can get the facts about savings and investing with a well detailed plan, you should be able to gain financial security over the years and enjoy the benefits of managing your income.

Personally i ventured into the stock market so i won't be stranded with the help of an Investment advisor. A colleague of mine introduced me to "Courtney Heath Williams", who drew out investments plans and they all aligned with what i wanted and had to pick one plan and with his exit and entry strategies on commodities, securities and digital assets, my portfolio has really been diversified with good ROI. Im really impressed by how much i have achieved so far with my investment...

P. T. Barnum created the Barnum & Bailey Circus with James Anthony Bailey. Also, Former Mayor of Bridgeport, Connecticut. One time he bought a blind, severely debilitated African-American woman named Joice Heth and advertised her as “the Greatest Natural and National Curiosity in the World.” He described himself as the “proprietor of the negress” even though slavery had been abolished in New York seven years earlier.

You missed why he billed her as "the Greatest Natural Curiosity.' He was told she was 161 years old, and had allegedly been George Washington's nurse. She went along with this story, telling tales of George as a boy. When she died and the doctor who did the autopsy declared she was actually about 80, Barnum insisted he had been duped.

I just sold a property in Portland and I'm thinking to put the cash in stocks, I know everyone is saying its ripe enough, but Is this a good time to buy stocks? How long until a full recovery? How are other people in the same market raking in over $200k gains with months, I'm really just confused at this point.
