The guy named Danny Ramirez with the red 48 convertible was one of our shofurs for our wedding 40 years ago. He organized all the convertibles and the cruz. He was a very nice guy. Years later i saw him at Johnny's Broiler in downey and he said it was nice to see that we were still married and doing well. My wife of 40 years just passed away last year. She would of enjoyed seeing this video...good memories.

I'm a Kustom Oldie, the first one in Alemania who was ask to support them by Oscar Ruelas aka "Mr.Lowrider" from Los Angeles. It's a pleasure for me to be a member of the car club and the distance is no obstacle to calling them brothers! This movie showing me the history of riding low and where the basics came from! What a great Doc! Grew up on the central coast, and we used to hit Salinas on Fri/Sat nights for the weekly cruise. So many different cars and styles all out, just ridin, my faves were (still are) the lowlos. Good times.

I've always had a sincere appreciation for the dedication of the Finish work, the amount of work and money would actually shock most people, although it's never been my style/Interest in respect to Custom Work, Modified details and fabrication involved in the Chassis alone, i like the early "bombs".. raspy glass pack straight Six.. sound and style, They have truly saved these late 30s early to mid 40s Chevy's , from a the Old car grave.. They've been saving Old Plymouth and Dodge Brother Vehicles also... So many Chevrolet, saved, you understand that they are Super rare, why I believe the Mopars have been saved also.. you just can't rock the Felix Chevrolet Dealer Plate... Por Vida Build 2 in my life time At 59 I got one more to do. Both where always 1st place winners 🏆 The feeling when your driving and it's thumb 👍 up , it's a all good. Houston lost it culture for a bit but our old skool president from low Masters has kept it all and now it's hitting again . Chicana por Vida. Keeping low slow .

I had a 1962 pearl yellow custom pain job back in the 70s. The paint job cost me more than the car , i remember cruising Whittier Boulevard. Those were some good times and good memories , i never got into a car club, but i knew most of the members.

I bare witness that police has stereotyped Latinas, but I live in the Atlanta area and I have a love for Chicanos, Latinas, Mexicans, but because I'm not one of them and don't speak Spanish, I get somewhat of a hard time from many of them on my job. Maybe if I, as a black man learned Spanish I'd be embraced. I wish a Mexican family would adopt me for six months to teach me.theor culture. La Raza, love!

OMG, I had a pearl yellow 62 in east LA back in the 70s I was going to keep forever. I had purchased a brand new 1977 Monte Carlo , I had my 62 parked on the street and a drunk driver total it.

Out of respect to any and all who , find the word or distinction "Hispanic" offensive.. As i just went down the Deep Warren (rabbit hole)... Definitions.. Chicano, Latino and Hispanic... Especially in this.. you can always be whatever you want etc.. Latino.. Be proud Dude, I don't care at all... But to somehow... Attempt to distance from.. Spain.... I've always found it odd... J. De La Torre, Hernandez, Muzquiz, Bohorquez... My Great grandparents left Spain after WW1.. to live with Family in Mexico...
