I largely agree, save for one thing... There is a "positive way" to look at "making mistakes" and "doing something wrong". To view the negative as a positive opportunity for positive change! "Oh look, this negative thing is happening! What a wonderful opportunity to get creative and do all kinds of positive stuff!" "Wow, this mistake gave me all this knowledge and wisdom! I am so thankful for it! Very useful!" Humans learn through trial and error, and it doesn't have to be "bad" unless you insist that it has to be.

So, if you read this now 2 years after your post, I'd like to ask for clarity regarding decisions and energy. If a situation is exhausting, with stomach cramps as a result, and low enerfy to regroup, at the same time, intellectually parsing out the situation, knowung that the also letting go and lisrening to the lesson from the universe...does that mean that my vibration is not ready to repeat the situation? Currently, I am deciding to reduce contact, so as to not over draw my energy account, so to speak. Embracing love and light towards the great space that includes the people involved. I do get overwhellmed, then lean on high vibration friends to carry my through - and the breakthrough is being mindful of my energy level and making sound decisions regarding energy use. I need to relisten to this video... I think Matt is making an analogy with bank accounts. Thank you. Blessings

Thank you for your service and wisdom. I felt a deep latent vulnerability and tenderness touched. Genuinely loving innocence does appear to be a key to unlocking the Truth of Being AND at the end a question arose. I have been avoiding relationships for awhile as I finally noticed what a narcissist magnet I have been. My final “Knight in Shining Armor” turned out to be my Ultimate Annihilator and best teacher to date. What confuses me in your Universal Bank analogy is this: The narcissists I know do act as if they love everything about themselves and they do have large bank accounts, lovely material possessions, attract lovely partners, are charismatic, adventurous, skilled entrepreneurs, and are admired by others in their communities. Yet, when they don’t get their way from those closest to them, a monster gas-lighter and annihilator emerges. It’s very disorienting. I understand the narcissist/inferior ego dance much better now and how both are two sides of a similar self-absorption coin. I also know the true emptiness which lies like a seemingly bottomless pit at the core of the narcissistic phenomenon. All this to say your bank account analogy is triggering a red flag. The narcissists in my life have all the goodies your analogy points towards and they seem to be very in love with themselves yet they ruthlessly wreak havoc in the lives of those closest to them and have no empathy or remorse for the collateral damage left in their wake. The world is full of these characters. What’s the difference? I know it has to do with genuine self-generated love for the innocence at the core of the heart center of self and “other”, but ego is SO clever in its deception strategies. True growth requires incredible discernment. There are no quick fixes. Simple practices do seem to be key. And intention everything. True abundance looks more like overflowing virtues. When material wealth is tied to authentic capital V virtues . . . Love, Kindness, Patience, Gratitude, etc., magic happens. When not . . . Well, look around . . . Regardless. . . I shall make deposits.

Thank you for the beautiful sharing! I agree that there are no quick fixes and while genuine growth process occur, then we start truly feeling better and better. Hoever there are those little tricks that help us on this journey. Here I just shared the video of Matt Kahn which I find inspiring and relevant to the Self-love, as I resonate with it and love to show it in my workshops. In this video Matt is talking about making deposits, for people who hadnt been praised by their parents and didn't learn to feel good about themselves from the childhood. So now we repeat this behavior in adult life and dont do it either to ourselves. So for these kind of people, myself included, it's a nice trick to start making deposits and taking a moment to feel good about themselves. That will support the growth process. While for narcissists it's a different story. This practice is not for them. Their ego feels good about themselves- that's why they achieve all those things more easily, including the attention of the opposit sex - since its sexy when someone feels good of himself. But imbalance went into the other side - where Pride took over and control the persons behavior instead of the Heart. That's an obstruction for the soul to express itself, that obstructs creation of truly loving and intimate relationships, creates the fear of exposure, compulsion to perform, creates negative karma, and entangles oneself in the ego. So they dont need to encourage ego even more. They need more of a different practice. Surrendering and giving up the pride will do much more. But for people with the inferior ego. Making deposits and learning to feel good about themselves can be sooo good. Our soul needs a healthy ego to achieve its goals.. But there are different "treatments" for different people.

Alexey Nechaev how interesting, I didn’t realize I accessed this video through your channel as I usually go directly through Matt’s channel. Regardless, it was perfect timing. I believe the false self which narcissists have mistakenly confused as a true self wouldn’t know what to do with an authentic, heart-centered, self-generated “I love you”. Except maybe be one who puts it in the “this is ridiculous” category and blow it off. But it doesn’t mean they wouldn’t benefit if they dropped the pretense just enough to actually try it and let it in. I’m sure it would feel quite foreign . . . As it does for one with an inferior ego. Like I wrote: two sides of a similar coin, just different coping strategies for dealing with insecurity. It’s why these two personality profiles make such intense dance partners. I think one with an inferior ego structure may just subconsciously fear allowing the concept of self-generated love precisely because they have been traumatized by those who have generated an abundance of egotistical false-self love. Like, “I fear becoming the monster that has harmed me”. The irony is the ego has them convinced they are unworthy of genuine love and it’s the same monster with a different mask. Bottom line: I feel very vulnerable when I let the genuine “I love you” touch my heart. I have heard those words externally from those whom have less than loving behaviors and harsh judgments which they are more than willing to share in the name of love only to make themselves feel almighty and powerful. Sorting it all out is a process. And the inner child holds the touchstone. It isn’t giving up the PIN until authentic heart-centered love is genuinely felt. And when it is a painful bliss is tapped into which opens a foreign floodgate of tenderness which has been locked behind a barricade which feels ancient. We heal for the collective and those wounds and traumas are ancient. I heal for the narcissists and the inferior egos because I know I contain it all. I just dislike the bank account analogy as effective as it is as a visual. I could feel the egoistic seduction arising with the image of the vault opening. My inner child feels it. It calls me to a higher level of integrity before I’m given access to the treasures it holds. Like I said strategies of ego are so very clever in keeping control. Ego is the thief dressed up as the guard yelling “look, over there, a thief”! When I see it I can laugh. Thanks for replying. 🙏🏻💕😊
