The one and only Dale Carroll.......... a calf roping legend
@kuroshi27983 жыл бұрын
I love how this video shows all the steps and shows different horses at different stages of training. The bits are a lot harder than even what I use on my really hot and spicy barrel horse, who ironically stops like a roping horse, but everything else here is awesome. Really informative and shall be a big help in getting one of my young things able to catch calves for me.

I know it's crazy but I never liked seeing those calves get roped and tied down in practice or rodeos. I've seen too many have their necks broken in practice. Calf roping at rodeos is not something I watch. I realize it's part of ranch work but you aren't racing a clock. I wish it was no longer in rodeos...too cruel.

I'm over 60 and have Rodeo all my life and I have never seen A calf's necks broke. Just saying.

@@rickgunier8314 agreed..roped thousands of calves... never even seen one injured.. nice try lady

@@dustinmichael3210 I've seen them injured and carried off on a drag more than once. It's rare but it happens. That's why they require switching them now. It happens. I love rodeo but you two clowns are full of B.S. saying you've never seen one injured.
