I just had a front row seat at the City Winery here in St Louis for Tom Sandoval's trivia show. It was lame it only lasted like 30 minutes he asked us 10 questions and he just paced back and forth and it was so boring. The best summation of this situation I've heard from Lawtube is that "Everyone gets knives and everyone gets stabbed. Do you really win the knife fight if you still die on the way to hospital?" My favorite ADHD Lawyers: Emily D Baker, Runkle of the Bailey, and Rob from Law and Lumber all agree this is assured mutual distruction. They are sharing their different perspectives of their interactions. So the video and other co-workers are goinng to be the best evidence. I do think it is strange that even though the nudity rider was approved by Lively's lawyer, yet over 6 months later she still had not signed it. They were also over 4 months into filming still trying to get her to sign the contract. At some point they put her money into an escro account while asking for her to at least sign an engagement letter. It gave her a huge leg up in Nov 2023-Jan 2024 when she was threatening to leave the production. I've liked her in a number of movies, but I've always struggled with her in press interviews. She has a dry sarcastic sense of humor, which I normally can laugh with, but I always fellt she would use the "just joking" to cover up when she took it into cruel territory. I belive her when she said he was making jokes about HR and acted like acknowledging that he shouldn't say something, before saying it allows him to cross the boundary. I'm getting to where I don't like either.

It’s interesting because I’ve listened to them also and I’m convinced that it actually depends on what each of these lawyers defines as success and what they define as destruction. Is it destruction if JB wins, but never works in Hollywood again? Is it destruction if BL loses, but continues working in Hollywood? How are each of these lawyers qualifying success or destruction? My point is really that it’s possible that 90% of the time, it is mutually assured destruction, so the lawyers are really playing the odds when they tell us these things based on their experience. I don’t necessarily think they are incorrect, I just find all of them to be always very safe and not particularly creative in either their observations and assertions. It’s easy to look wise when you’re being cautious because you’re afraid to be wrong or because you don’t actually care one way or the other.

My abusive Ex would do the “just a joke” “just kidding” thing all the time. Maybe I am too sensitive but when I saw the footage and Justin said “yeah my nose is very big” it seemed to me like he was insecure about that. Because why bring it up anyway? And instead of making him feel more comfortable about it she chose to shame him for it. I didn't like that. Also makes her accusation of him body shaming her when that was a very different situation and he never even said anything to her about that even worse. All in all she and her team are doing so many things they accuse him of doing. I don't like it. But I also think both lost in this. Because Justin doesn't look good either. He still looks like the bigger victim in this. And Blake looks like a bully. And we already know that she has a pattern of punching down. While so far we don't know this about Justin.

JB’s PR team waged a smear campaign against her and they are winning, I definitely think there was retaliation against her because she spoke out against a hostile work environment. Before she made her complaints public, there was SO much bad publicity against her. And if you look at all the online vitriol, it’s mostly about how “mean” she is. How dare she tell him he’s not standing in the right spot, etc. That video he released proves nothing. He definitely could have whispered something inappropriate in her ear. How does this video prove nothing when the thing she said happened didn't happen? She didn't say he "whispered something inappropriate" - she said that he (out of character in a scene with no dialogue needed) said "you smell so good" whilst "running his lips from her ear down her neck" - his lips didn't touch her neck, and he said "it smells good" in response to her spray tan comment. She is also the one who insisted on talking, so he responded, whilst they both discussed what to do (body language) with their characters. So now her team says "oh but he's trying to kiss her and she's backing away" - ok so which is it? The original lawsuit description (which we saw was false) or the "attempted kisses"? - either way it is false, because we hear them agree to "near kisses" in the scene, we even see her lean in for one and then cheekily back away, because that is their characters' dynamic early on in the movie, they are ACTING. And she thought this whole time that there is no sound to this footage.

Blake is getting raked over the coals. Former directors, former co-stars, current friends, the author of the book, the other co-stars on the movie have all supported her and said she was treated terribly by Baldoni. She tried to improve her work conditions in-house and Baldoni and his money guy just mocked her. The only reason she went public is because Baldoni and his PR people (and there is proof) had a very disgusting plan to blackball her using reddit and other platforms. The effectively effed her career. She did not do the same to him until he carried this out for months. Ryan just went to bat for her because she did not feel safe. People who knew her as she was filming saw that she was under duress. She has always completed her press duties and obligations in the past. The fact that she would not do press with him was an outlier. People criticizing her don't realize HE started the under radar pervasive smear campaign before she ever went to the NYT. NYT published based on workplace documents they found. He is now trying to use DVARVA against her in retaliation - humiliate her in every way. If you are working with a harasser, you will see the person acting friendly at times to try to honor the contract and hope the HR directives go through. It is not at all uncommon to be forced to work woth someone to avoid a suit and try to make the best of it. I am not a BL fan girl (no issues with her) but she is being raked over the coals by a guy who has shown problematic behavior in the past including a self admitted consent issue. The texts from his PR team and what they planned to do to her for privately speaking out was evil. It was also effective.

Not a BL fan, but I do believe she most likely has grounds for harassment and retaliation under California laws. If you set aside all of the unflattering, unnecessary details included in the suit fillings, and PR machines on both sides, it is a little more clear cut. 1. She's not accusing him of SA. Harassment in the workplace is defined as repeated, unwanted attention (verbal or physical) of a sexual nature. Or can take the form of a hostile work environment (i.e. inappropriate images, jokes, etc. 2. Someone who experiences or even witnesses those behaviors meets the legal definition of being harassed 3. Employers in CA are legally required to investigate and put a stop to any of those behaviors if observed or reported. 4. Her filing cites examples of JB demonstrating harassing behaviors towards her AND others on set. Just like anything included in a legal filing, the examples could be false. But it's highly unlikely a lawyer would pursue a SH case without knowing they had enough witnesses on set to substantiate the allegations. 5. California law also protects employees who report harassment from retaliation, which is defined as any type of negative action resulting fron the complaint. There is a VERY wide definition of retatilation under the law, which includes obvious actions like firing, demoting or giving an undue negative performance review. It also includes more subtle actions like trash talking the person to other colleagues, or acting more cold towards them in daily interactions. 6. HR departments take harassment very seriously bc the company is legally liable if they allowed the behavior to persist or retaliation took place. It sounds like this followed a typical HR process - BL (and possibly others on set) filed a complaint, and he was investigated. If HR found haraasment, they would have drafted specific things JB would need to do/change to make BL/others comfortable in the workplace. 7. From what was is the filing, it sounds like HR did an investigation and found some merit to the accusations. It's unlikely all of those details would show up in the filing bc the legal team does not want to share all of its evidence so early in the process. I agree that BL seems to have some problematic behaviors exposed in all of this. But it also seems like there is merit to the harassment and retaliation charges. Both things can be true. Even if she is in fact, a mean controlling baddie as he claims, its still possible he harassed her and/or others on set. Also, IMO, if JB was innocent, his legal team and PR machine would not go scorched earth and go so over the top in distracting from the actual allegations. Juat my 2 cents 😊

Your comments regarding the video not being damning. It seems you may not have gotten the chance to review the case yet. Maybe you already did but what she said occurred in that scene was listed in her case (#48) and is entirely different from what she said occurred. People don’t realize or take the time to review the case to give a perspective based on the lens of validating her claims vs viewing the clip with absolutely no context in which at that point no opinion should probably be given. A random clip wasn’t released just to be released. There were many things she said that occurred specifically in that scene that did not occur. That is what is damning because it makes it appear she is not being truthful and therefore not credible. What they are doing are providing their evidence for each of her claims.

The Nicepool characters simultaneously shows you what RR thinks of Justin’s appearance, Justin’s openness with his life, Justin’s generosity with people that he works with or shares his life with, and how RR perceived Justin’s interactions with his wife. It also reveals RR’s jealousy of Justin’s looks and Justin’s kind personality that seems impervious to insult or negativity, which RR seems to find unrealistic and annoying, but only because it seems so effortless on JB’s part that RR literally cannot understand how JB seems to be just naturally that good of a person. People will have to come to their own conclusions about why Deadpool treats Nicepool the way he does at the movie. Do the “100 bloody thirsty Deadpools”, represent the cast of IEWU? Is Ladypool the leader of the Deadpool Corp? Why is Nicepool never seen as a part of the Deadpool Corp, he’s always encountered in isolation with only Dogpool by his side? Does Dogpool actually represent the author, Colleen Hoover, and Deadpool is trying to get the ownership rights of the book and the author? If so, is she purposely trying to kill Nicepool when she uses her Uzis to shoot while Deadpool uses Nicepool as a body shield? If not, then why do they stop the gunfire when Wolverine holds up the dog (if you say it’s just because the dog is cute, you might not be a hardcore student of MCU Easter eggs)? And what do the solid gold pistoleros represent?
