Its so weird. When I am playing the game on my own I want to rush everything, dont read anything, try to do 1000 things at the same time and when I stop I feel like I didnt achieve anything. But when I am watching you it so satisfying to see you progressing. Even if it’s slower, it is so much more thought through. Really enjoy watching this. Thanks a lot!

It's almost discouraging. I spend an obscene amount of time, restarting endlessly, till I think I have come up with a pretty decent looking city. Then I watch videos like this and wonder why I even bother, lol.

You can find them in the options. For Production and stuff it's CTRL+Q,W,E,R and for upgrades it's U etc.

Big buildings only come in the real late game, so give it another 20-30 episodes :) but if your not familiar with it the game will have some nice surprises for you :)

I have over 1600 hrs into the game, really enjoying it. Watching your videos even gives an experience player some insight. I never knew you can like you show here. This really does clean up what is normally an awful process in transition into Artisian, it now allows me to relay my towns and make everything so much cleaner. All the videos are great keep up the good work

Love the series, you are an amazing player and it has been so long to watch a chill, relaxed campaing. Regarding the expeditions, I believe shnapps(?) Are both rations and medicine while bread are both faith and rations, some items can have more than one use in the expeditions. I do not know if it shows on the tooltips though.

Okay - my jaw dropped when you added soap for medicine on the expedition. I've only just picked up Anno 1800 (though have already put 24 hours into it) and I'm really enjoying your play through series when I can't play the game myself - that was such a simple thing to learn but incredible

I always enjoy 1800 more because I compare it to Anno 1602 which was my Favorite of the series!

This is great content, I have to say. Usually Anno 1800 content is all about speed and efficiency...I like your somewhat laid back approach, no speeding up time etc. I find it funny how the schooner has a sweet and somewhat 'small' voice and when you get to bigger ships, the voices become somewhat more fierce as well. Keep up the great work!

When I heard you mispronounce edelweiss something inside me went, REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! And I'm not even Austrian! You sir, need to watch The Sound of Music, poste haste! It's a fictionalized take on the true story of the Von Trapp family who fled Nazi annexed Austria to America, the music is absolutely incredible and you won't be able to forget the song of Austria's blossom of snow. Honestly, the song is so simple and beautiful that I can't forget it. Haven't seen the movie in years and I can still sing it from memory. You sir, are missing out on a grand thing. Got this game for free a long while ago, played a bit as I have always been a fan of the Anno games. Actually stopped playing cause it was so overwhelming but your videos really help me out a lot. Love watching them and they motivate me to start playing again!

In case you didn't know, the lady singing at the church quest is a reference to "the sound of music." edelweiss is a flower from the alps. more or less phonetically prounounced "Adel-vice"

Great series! Just downloaded Anno1800 last week and finished the campaign. Now I’m laying in bed pretty ill so this is a great way to learn how others play the game! By the way: amount of goods for expedition works so that you only get the full % for 50t of goods. I guess everything below is pro rated. I think I read that on a loading screen.
