Love this!!! I do journals like this all the time! I have missed you and your art! I have been sick, so it’s good to see your videos again! Last year my colon ruptured, went into cardiac arrest, and diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer and liver cancer! God put together the best medical team, and now I am cancer free…. Neuropathy is bad! But I am alive, and grateful to artists like you who inspire me to get up, every day and be positive, and create my cards that I pass out, and too put feelings when I hurt into journals!!! Kandice!!! That is an experience that breaks people but you sound like you have found joy in your life. I agree with you that beauty inspires us. Astounding! The style, images, color pallet, words, and ideas -- all so inspiring. I teared up when you mentioned your dad. Such sweet memories. I ran right to the shop before this video was done, and I will be buying as much as I can! My favorite idea was how the butterflies on the tag fit into a sort of slot that you made. What I remind my kids of all the time: when you look into the mirror, tens of thousands of years of ancestors are there looking back at you. I think we are each crafted uniquely by God, but that includes bits and pieces of those who came before us in a very literal sense. At least to me, my family is like a river flowing through space and time, ourselves being at the head of the river, directing it ever onward❤

LOVE this, Nazy! I learned about mica in a geology class, so I recognized it on the fairy wing. It can be peeled very thin and large pieces used to be used as "glass" in windows in Russia, according to my professor. 🙂💟🌻
