Leica Camera doing great with some choices that go in the opposite of the marketing is pushing and towards the photographer’s experience. I can’t afford a Leica, despite I owned one in the past because I worked on assignment for Leica, so don’t take it as a Leica fan-boy comment. It is just sincere appreciation.

If Leica really believes in their ethos with photography, then they should make this D model a standard item like the P model, so more keen photographers can enjoy this unique experience without having difficulty to find or pay extortionate prices which in the end never benefit Leica. Brand loyalty is an old energy and paradigm because people now own more than one brand of cameras so they can enjoy different experiences. If Leica is listening, then I'm sure they will sell way more cameras and lenses as at present, many people see it as an exclusive brand only for the super wealthy which isn't true at all.

Encoding process does some really strange things to the stills -I had to apply special color space over them to protect the gama integrity in the contrast and it was a bit of a balancing act with luma values

Leica reinvents photography once again or is it Brandon.... A fast moving subject matter is chosen to promote this camera. Surely, Leica M11-D has magical powers. After watching this, sports photographers can dump their cameras with long lenses in the nearest river; no ibis, or high frame rates needed. After all it is a Leica. With the M11-D you become a master photographer. You don't need a screen. You just click the shutter, you capture art - instantly... Have you placed your order for the all new M11-D yet?
