Asashio was the reward ship for the Yamato event... I grinded her out during that event and she’s quite the DD, I feel like everyone forgets about the asashio which was pretty much the first yudachi due to the torp reload booster and smoke combo it had but at tier 6

I can’t believe it we were 847/160 in front had all the caps 1 min to go and our last two remaining ships a BB and a destroyer both tried to take on a Nagato and both died with less than 15 seconds to go. I wanted to throw my controller. How HOW please tell me someone HOW

I believe you could get the Asashio for Sakura coins during the event where you could play the Yamato for the first time in warships. Don't quote me on that though.
