So why would anyone chase the Bureau Montana now? You remember the Bureau, don't ya?? The be-all and end-all of a given ship line in most cases? Not any more...at least not for Montana. And therein lies the BS Montana, a shortcut ship that rewards cutting corners to mediocre players, which will mostly feed the problem. This ship is the exclamation point to the player base problem. A LOT of upset people are giving birth to moose's out of their asses over the Schill but this....this is more offensive, especially to those who have the now obsolete Montana via the obsolete Bureau. This could be the update that starts a departure of players from this game as Wargaming is more and more condescending with their marketing decisions. They are literally devaluing their own Bureau with this ship. A nice gesture would've been to reduce the price of this ship for current Montana owners who thought they had THE Montana...until now. But that would be absurd. Capitalism does not recognize what is nice or fair....ever. I would suggest anyone thinking of paying any resources for Midway, Vermont, Schlieffen or Zao projects to think twice about it....Wargaming may just unleash a BA, or AL or ARP or MIA or DOA or NWA version of any of those ships which will be better....for a big price, but that's just me. And yes my dear Xarkun, THAT IS a hideously ugly camo...it reminds me of the portrait of Dorian Grey (which is allegedly hideous) if he were a battleship of course.

I'm happy with this ship I got lucky and unlocked all the ba content in 18 crates. It's sad when noobs can buy legendary tier ships day 1. Wow I didn't even try reload mod 21 seconds in insane. I wish I was able to use the transformer skin from regular Montana on ba Montana

Maybe I'm just too picky, but can't Wargaming get some consistency going with Japanese names? All of the basic Japanese commanders except Tōgō are in western format with given name followed by surname. The only exception being Tōgō Heihachirō who is displayed in Japanese format with his surname first (which I'm assuming is a mistake which means they couldn't even be bothered looking that up). Then you have the premium commanders which are in Japanese format as well. It's all over the place. Why is consistency so hard?

I love this ship, probably my favorite ship I own currently, it's a beast. Schill costs a ton of $ or resources. I think War Gaming should have had requirements to take BA Montana out of port, a tier six BB and at least 300 standard battles played for example. I think 5% of the player base can afford Schill without spending any $. I am sure that people who have been playing for five years at least got a few Campaign ships along theway and bought a few crates at some point. Nothing other than tech tree ships are truly free in this game. There are some great deals this update, so no one should feel left out.

Paying real money for any legendary ship is ridiculous. They are not true premium ships, so you don't get the benefits like earning more silver per battle.

I had a ton of POs and premium days so I just blew a bunch on the whole shebang. I still have way more than needed of both. I figured "what the hell". I just hope they don't offer it again as a bureau ship or whatever...

I don't like adding fuel to the fire but any new accounts get the Japanese weeb for free and 5 crates, I made a new accounts to see of it's real and I got 3 of the commanders and there's a high chance of getting any of the ships before even reaching your first BB

I would rather buy Stalingrad or Georgia than that overrrated cruiser.

I have seen many BA Montana's, outta 10 matches against them, 7 outta 20 sail in straight lines not angling in the slightest... So yeah, LT has been noticably worse

New and Veteran players should check for game codes that might provide free resources. That might make Schill more affordable.

Well i had over 4500 promotion orders all my commanders need insignia's to level up so thank goodness i can use these for something. so used that and about 600K Global exp and got me the Schill. so yea used up tons of resources otherwise that would gather dust so at least it went to something i can use.

Campaign 2500 coins, campaign gives back 750 coins, calendar gives back 700, campaign cost 1050 doubloon. And i got: Velos (i don't care), Georgia (i care a lot) and a fuckton of crate in wich i got Resistance (nice t6 premium ship), sharnost B t6 battleship (awful), De grasse (meh) t5 cruiser, and the agano (is nice, i wanted to start that branch of japanese cruisers). 1050 doubloon for 5 premium ships and 1 normal ship (the update still needs to end, and there are still a lot of crates).

Looks like the way to go is the promotion orders. To get this ship i spended 4400 POs, 24million of credits and just 50k free xp...so, not that bad for a tier 7 and a tier V premiums.

3,000 Premium Days will give you the thrill of getting the Schill....at least that's how I got the damn thing. I'm not certain what's more disturbing to me...the fact that I had 3,000 Premium Days to spare or the remaining number that I still have. It's not remotely my fault....because i blame the pandemic and this channel. 😜😜😜 The Schill is a helluva cruiser, that much I can confirm. It's well-armored, the main guns will wreck cruisers and destroyers alike, especially with those reload boosters, it's got hood speed and reasonable AA protection. Is it worth the resources being asked? Frankly, no ship is worth that but IF...IF you're like me and whaled away like Captain Ahab during the pandemic days of '20, '21 and early '22...and you have an obscene amount of Premium Days then this is a way to get rid of a lot of them. The "V" crate is also a nice perk...it gave me the Makarov which is also a good cruiser to play.

It's such a good idea that they've implemented so incredibly badly. I didn't expect it to be particularly reasonable in resource costs but they've really out done themselves with how much they're asking for this time

I love Georgia. I am also very happy with my AL Colorado, and AL New Jersey commanders. I'm not wasting anymore resources on yet another new US Battleship commander.

The thing i found the strangest was that if you had the elite xp it would cost you more to convert the elite xp than it would to buy out with premium time. By about $70. I cant afford the ship anyway but i thought that was strange lol

All the resources I have only gets me to about 40%. There's no way I'm gonna waste all that on one ship. I already have the graf spee That's going to have to be close enough.

I am not going to get it. I do have enough resources to do so but I do not like losing all those resources as it will break the bank on my grind strategy. 400 Million Credits, will purchase the ship outright but 2 million GXP will not get you to the 45% mark. In My Opinion the Crafting station is a bust to many resources for a tier 7 ship.

If you don't get it now, it will be $11,000 USD in a couple months.

I am annoyed you can't use insignia for it. I have way too many and I never use them so they just sit there.

Even if the price wasn't ridiculous, I wouldn't be interested as the Italian cruiser line exists!
