For some people, thigh gaps are natural. Like for me, my bone structure doesn't even let me knees touch when the feet are touching when I'm standing up. A wider pelvis allows for some women to have a thigh gap even when they are at a healthy weight/BMI. That being said, if your body type does not naturally have a thigh gap, then it is impossible for you to have a thigh gap; ergo, people with this body type should focus on maintaining a healthy diet/lifestyle without worrying about the existence of a thigh gap. Again, a thigh gap is NOT the ideal; the ideal body type is one where YOU are confident and healthy. Edit: Because some people did not understand my original post, I felt the need to say that I believe all body types are beautiful and I am extremely glad Ashley Graham had the confidence to express herself in order to offer the same confidence to others with her similar body type. My original post's meaning was simply that thigh gaps can be healthy and normal for some people; my point was NOT for everyone to have a thigh gap. Everyone has a different body type; as long as we are all healthy (exercising, at a healthy weight, taking care of ourselves, staying confident), everyone and every body type is beautiful.
