I love the fact that the pit is so easily recognizable. We have all flew over it countless times. We've all soared down to collect those 2 dirt piles or 3 hochenbloom. Even the cliff that Fyrakk is standing on is somewhere I have been. It makes this cinematic feel like it's part of the world. I feel like I've interacted with this cinematic rather than simply viewed it.

Raz could have killed Alex but didn’t. They do care about all dragons and Azeroth. It’s a continuing theme as Zovaal did what he did out of selflessness initially. This is basically a continuation of Shadowlands. The trio are Zovaal. The aspects are the 4 brainwashed idiots refusing to see the truth in front of their faces. Granted the trio doesn’t know things on the scale of Zovaal but they do seem to know the titans are not the force of good the aspects think.

I think Viranoth does care about her family. However, based on previous dialogue from Alexstrasza, Iridikron is up to some stuff his siblings are unaware of. So I believe he is less inclined to care what happens to his family. He seems to have other plans that he isn't letting them in on.

I definitely get the sense that Iridikron is using Fyrakk in this cutscene. "Oh yeah, go down there and bathe in Shadowflame. Wake up the elders. I'm sure you'll get super strong and there will be no negative side-effects..." I feel like Fyrakk is going to end up becoming much more manic and crazed and that will result in him being killed due to not being careful, but he'll cause enough damage in the process that Iridikron will consider it worth the price.

She seems low down annoyed that he brushes off Fyrrak, like she knows he's being sacrificed but is actually pained about it. It's a glorious little bit that may set up her betrayal of Iridikron later... or at least her doubts.

Vyranoth herself looks like someone who uses Fyrakk. Here it is worth understanding that they do not really use it, since in 10.1 2 important things will be said: 1) Fyrakk just craves strength and power and he likes the very fact of destruction. 2) Fyrakk is as strong as Iridikron, but less disciplined and focused. They sent Fyrakk there, they are perfectly aware of what they are doing. Vyranoth also knows that there is a void in Aberrus. So I doubt it already, she looks like someone who is aware of all the plans (and even makes them)

For sure. Fyrakk gives me Hidan vibes with his maniacal zealotry. Iridikron and Vyranoth have a Pein and Konan dynamic in the way they calmly and efficiently infiltrate. Iridkron also takes on a Kakuzu type of dynamic when interacting with Fyrakk.

I think Nozdormu is surprised by things...because he predicts and tells the future to try and guide or change it, but he can't see every step of the process. And in a way, I see him like Garnet from SU...perhaps he can only see the multiple possibilities, but not foresee how we get there exactly. Or he sees bad things and decides to try anyway, just in case it could work.

In terms of Nozdormu and what is the catalyst for his transformation into Murozond it's the realisation that what he and the bronze dragonflight have been granted access to is actually a fractured version of the true cosmic clock, that has been manipulated by the Titans (Aman'thuul) to break the original design that it was meant to be. Think along the lines that the Cosmos was created to Follow a Design which was cyclic and infinite and this leads to the concept that the true design of the cosmos is to follow the one path over time and always repeats itself. Hence the concept of the Infinite Cycle of Time its the one the Cosmos is meant to be on. Now that you understand what the Infinite Cycle of Time actually is you can now understand how it could be used against Nozdormu to corrupt and shatter his perspective on what is actually true when it comes to time and the fracturing of the true cosmic time initially designed. So who is it that has been slowly corrupting Nozdormu and enabling what will happen for him to become Murozond? It's Xal'atath. Xal'atath is an old god but one that is able to do corrupt time and do things with any timelines that are not part of the correct infinite path that the cosmos should be on. She is the one who has been cloaking or shrouding various parts of the Fractured Timeline so that not even Aman'thuul can see the truth behind these clouded areas. This is visible when we see Nozdormu having to have the assistance of the Dracythr break through the veil which casts a shadow over areas in time that he can't see through (Veil of Shadow...= Void = Old God messing with timelines). Xal'atath however, has it set up so that certain required triggers at a certain time are used to allow Nozdormu to see what is hidden from his view through the eyes of others. It is all part of Xal'atath plans, ensuring that all pieces are in place for the final outcome which results in the transformation and emergence of the Infinite Dragonflight. Additionally it is important to also understand that if the Bronze Oathstone is essentially a connection or draws upon Cosmic Time it makes sense why you couldn't ignite it unless both the Infinite Dragonflight and Bronze Dragonflight were present together. They are two sides of the same thing and the True cosmic time isn't visible to the Bronze Dragonflight because they only see the fractured one. However, the infinite dragonflight sees the Infinite Cycle of Time that the cosmos should be on but it requires the Bronze Dragonflight to establish broken timelines to be converged back so that the universe is once again on it original infinite cycle of time as it was designed to be. To take this one step further TIME is the 7th cosmic force it's the one that is outside the others and is the thing that essentially binds and holds them all together. It's the Infinite Cycle of Time upon which the Cosmos resets and starts again which has happened twice before we are on the third cycle. It is a power that wasn't meant to be touched but in the event that it was the Cosmic design ensured there would be a solution to return it back to the original true design once again. So as Aman'thuul somehow got access to Time and essentially broke the Infinite Cycle of the Universe there is one that is the Bane of Time etc. that being Xal'atath. One other point of note is that Xal'atath if we follow the Lovecraft links of the other Old Gods is likely to be Xexanoth who is the bane of time etc. so it all makes sense.

Fyrakk reminds me abit of Mark Hamill's Joker. In this patch cycle from 10.1 to 10.2 we may finally have a aspect of the black dragonflight as we deal with the aftermath of the raid and maybe the remnants of the sundered flame team up with Fyrakk in the megadungeon and we could face Vyranoth in the 10.2 raid leaving Iridikron to lead us into the next expansion maybe. Maybe the next zone and raid is where Vyranoth and iridikron are heading to next which could be a possible area for the aspects to reclaim the power they lost back in Cata. I love the analysis videos as always :-)

Seems the incarnates were balanced in terms of temperament and personality that now that Razageth is dead Fyrakk is the odd man out. Iridicron and Virinoth seem cool headed and calculating, while Razageth and Fyrakk seemed to be the hotheaded brazen duo. Iridicron even lambasts Razageth for her "Overconfidence" as the cause of her death. I can totally see Fyrakk being sacrificed here for the greater good, but whether or not he cares to being used in such a way or will feel betrayed by this act is an interesting question.

I think it's clear that Vyranoth cares about others and probably even cares for Fyrakk and will be disappointed by Iridikron's carelesness and sacrifice plans. You can tell that she was sad about Raszageth and she is the only one "sister, what have they done to you". I really would not be surprised if Iridikron also played her in some sort of way or even just ate her for more power to reference galakrond, which would be super cool!

Love the DF story and flow. In fact, i keep playing alts through the main story rather than skipping it bc its cool enough to just play through again 😂 id love to see blizz go back and streamline the story quests in the old expacs so a new player could in theory start in Vanilla and get all the major story points through all 7-8 expansions as they level to 60 and head to the Dragon Isles.

Probably not Galakrond or a single Old God since she uses the plural "nightmares". What if, and this might sound crazy, Galakrond wasn't the big bad that ate all the dragons? What if Galakrond was Azeroths's empowered hero meant to take on an out of control cohort of protodrakes meth'd out on Titan juice whose original mission (the mission of these meth'd drakes) was to kill all the other protodrakes (because they can't be controlled by the Titans and they stand as a real threat to the Titans' plans for Azeroth), and what if the darkest nightmares are just literal memories of Alexstrasza et al. having been the dragon version of inquisitors?

The other thing that works in the favor of why the baddies are being liked is just the Story of Dragonflight and how it has constructed itself over time between launch and the 1st BIG patch. I mean between the patches we already returned to the forbidden reach and thus had lore to snack on as a sort of appetizer. And the ofcourse there is the Orc Heritage questline that in my eyes was just dam RIGHT.
