Part of the problem is the way we justify the attacks. For example, any male who is judged to be of an age capable of military service, typically greater than 12-13, is counted as an insurgent by virtue of his age alone. Any activity deemed "suspicious" is counted as justification to be targeted, without verification of any ill intent. This is the reality as told by drone operators themselves. It may not be what is told to the president by his so called advisors because by the time information has reached his ears it has been so filtered and sanitized it is practically meaningless. This attests to the power of the bubble our leaders and our media live in. But media has no excuse because they choose to live in that bubble, to simply regurgitate what passes for truth without inquiry. They know if they embarrass the powers that be, if they ask hard questions, they will be thrown out of that safe and comfortable bubble. How sick is that? When Larry Whitmore accused Obama the media gasped not because he exposed his failure so much as he exposed theirs. He dared to prick that fragile bubble with a jab of truth. He threatened to expose the establishment's policy for the feckless and self serving thing it is, and that simply is not done.

I did not vote for a second term for the Great Reneger Obama, and I am as proud of that as my vote for Donald Trump. Too bad Trump makes me less and less proud every day. Such is politics.
