The present leadership of this party was not against sikhs that's why Sidhu joined them. even the same party [which Sidhu joined ] won the last election in Punjab. Their leadership in 1984 was against sikhs.now their minster and President changed. They care about Sikhs. All others party was hell corrupt that's the reason sidhu join. And people didn't vote against Sidhu...they voted against the ruling party..Actually their was a strong wave to Change the ruling party.... That's the reason he lost after 3 months of election... He was a great artist, but not a great human. He was a wannabe. He wanted to live lifestyle he was talking in his songs for real, forgetting Lawrence is sitting at top, when it comes to that lifestyle. Midukhera was a good man and even common people around him knew it and sidhu was directly or indirectly involved in his murder. Lawrence saw him as brother and avenged his killing. It was possible for sidhu to live after apologising for it but ego was high up in his head after joining politics and he kept challenging and dissing other side.
