People don't seem to remember that Stan Lee's writing of Peter Parker carried a lot of spiteful and conniving tendencies for people that bullied and put him down, which carry into his trademark sass, which I think adds up into his willingness to even fight others in the first place. Like, we've all seen Peter be a door mat because he score high grades in math, but the reason why Andrew Garfield makes HIS "Peter Parker" look and act cooler than people think he should be, is because even before Peter Parker got bit, Stan Lee wrote him to bark back for himself, and he carried grudges about being crossed in the moment.

If anyone is interested in another fan show with WILDLY different character designs and concepts, we actually just put out the season finale of “The New Spider-Man Adventures”. I recommend watching the mini doc of the first 4 episodes “A Closer Look” and then watching episodes 5-8. The quality of the second half is noticeably better than the first. It’s all still animated by one person in MS Paint, so don’t expect anything more than glorified motion comic graphics. But the story is what matters the most to me and I am glad I was able to tell it.

It is really cool, and ill admit he is definitely one of the coolest peter parkers i have ever seen he just looks cool and mj is indeed a sight to see. I really like these redesigns a lot and the vibe the guy is going for this take on spiderman sounds peak!!!!
