I think it's amazing that this book is so Astrology forward and it always has been! I bought it at the Tractor Supply Store - lol - definitely not a typical place to find astrology... Thank you, Petra!

When I read about ancient Stoic physics and cosmology, I keep thinking of the OFA. The bits about lunar phase sound so much like cosmic sympathy.

As long as you don’t subscribe to ‘astrology’ as a belief system or as a way of some sort of “divination” then it can be used as a folkloric way to guide planting and so forth. It becomes a problem when it manifests as a form of sorcery, which obviously people may do, it’s an Old Farmer’s Almanac not a spell book!

You would be AMAZING at that job! You could tap into your farm roots for some of those predictions ;) Farmers are probably the ones who have used astrology the most overall if I think about it - at least practically. Thanks, David!
