Chris is actually 100% right about the multiple dreams thing. If what Matt was saying was true, then all of my thoughts during the day should be considered one thought until I go to sleep. It’s not. You have multiple, separate, individual dreams with their own completely unrelated scenarios and situations in them. They are not all the same dream.
@antwone94250
@antwone94250 4 ай бұрын
So I completely agree with you lol, but in order to not be BRM I had to try and make sense of it in my head and the best I could come up with is sometimes a dream is like a movie or regular TV show where it's one connected story, clear beginning, middle and end and sometimes it's like robot chicken where it's an amalgamation of a bunch of different skits in one "show"
@Downes_Indrome
@Downes_Indrome 4 ай бұрын
@@KodyXXVll Examples of being the same dream: I go out to dinner with someone, then we leave, get in a cab, go somewhere else like a coke den, where instantly a whole new scene starts but I just came from the bar and still with the person. Example of different dreams: I go to dinner with that person. We go out, get in our cars and go to our separate homes. When I walk in the door its not my home and I'm instantly dreaming I walked into a trap set up by the dog catcher, realize I'm a dog. No thought or memory of the person. Seems like a whole new dream. Long way to say I think they can sometimes be a long, constant dream and sometimes new dreams seem to form in the same sleep that are different... I guess? Lol
@Downes_Indrome
@Downes_Indrome 4 ай бұрын
Actually that last part gave me this idea; Separate or the same running dreams could be defined by your sleep cycles. All dream(s) during one period of being in deep sleep are one dream while coming out of the dreaming phase stops the one dream and a new dream starts when you go back into that cycle. Sorry, maybe I am way too high to write stuff 😅

Matt is wrong about dreams. Humans only dream during certain phases of the sleep cycle. Given that the brain enters and exits different phases of the sleep cycle several times per night, it is entirely possible to have several distinct dreams. The fact that Chris had several dreams after taking medication to induce deeper sleep supports the idea of him having entered and exited the phases conducive to dreaming several times.

Visiting the states I noticed a lot of people do blatant asshole things and they just rely on the fact that other people can't or won't cause the hassle necessary to stop them. I was actually shocked because where I come from everyone is super self aware and courteous of the people around them, not looking for every little excuse to take advantage of them.

It makes no sense to say that one dream is your entire sleep because you only dream in REM sleep and you go in and out of REM sleep each sleep cycle multiple times without waking up often so no to that Also an Atheist does believe in something. An atheist believes that there is no Gd- as opposed to an agnostic person who does not believe anything decidedly but is unsure.
