maybe at this moment, every American can feel proud of his country

There is no pride in war, only death and destruction.

Proud because we now run the world with an iron fist? Hardly something to be proud of, the US Government has caused massive suffering around the world ever since.

Churchill was a war criminal and he sets the charter the standard of human rights.. things like freedom from fear and want. Churchill had the crops burnt in India so 4 million Indians starved to death then said oh they bread like rabbits anyway. In Greece he set up the Nazi collaborators as a government and proceeded to stir up, fuel and sustain a civil war that lasted for years and destroyed about 300,000 people some from starvation also from a fabricated famine. Those Greeks that had a social conscience and fought the Italians and the Germans had to be got rid of. And he did a lot of shit in Africa too.

Thanks brother you . Real analysis I am from India.

Churchill was worse than Hitler. We despise one, love the other. Complete hypocrisy. Between the populations of Germany and India, he probably caused at least 7 million deaths.

Britain preyed on vulnerable peoples in Africa and Asia who had no modern weaponry to defend themselves. But when confronted with a formidable adversary, they were running helter-skelter for allies. The U.S. saved the British Empire from obliteration.

Churchill had no choice but to accept FDR's demands but as he said later, he had no intention of seeing the demise of the British Empire. This film is a complete whitewash of the brutal and genocidal realities of British colonial rule. Thank God for FDR.

And in the end he lost it anyway, another dismal failure for the most best Briton ever.

They left Stalin and Mao Zedong (both dictators) to unleash communist tyranny onto the world, and you conveniently left that small detail out.

And they’re looking toward an Atlantic Charter... hmmmm

The Allies broke every single rule and international convention before, during and after that war starting with Lend-Lease, voting it into law in the US doesn't make it legal internationally but obviously, that was of no concern to our leaders back then. Hitler sent more than 15 generous peace offers to Britain, offering among other things to dedicate the German fleet to help defend the British empire, the guy loved Britain, they were 'cousins' after all but without a war, Churchill would certainly have been fired and forgotten so he secretly intercepted every letter from Hitler and told no one about them. Eventually Lord Halifax caught up and proposed publicly to at least study the details of the offers, Churchill blew up, secretly found allies, defeated the motion and 70 million people died. Just google: "War Cabinet Crisis, May 1940" we came so close to avoiding thay war I try not to think about it too much.

Sounds like you are disappointed the Axis lost ..!!!
@rosesprog172211 ай бұрын
@@296Echo That is exactly what I didn't say, but I am indeed disappointed that they didn't find a way to prevent that war from happening at all and sincxe we know that the Poles suddenly refused to negotiate in March '39 when the Brits promised help, that it is France and Britain who declared war on Germany instead of joining the fight with Poland, as they had promised and that Churchill refused every peace offer made to him, the allies do have a big moral responsibility for the start of the war but my life is fine right mow so I can't and I won't speculate about an axis victory, it might have been better for all of us but it may hqave been much worse too, no one knows and no one will ever know so no, I don't wish the axis had won, not at all, I just know about some of the horrific things the allies did and I think these should be told, that's what truth, fairness and justice are all about.
