50/50 gets rid of 2 answers Double dip gets rid of one So while 50/50 is 'less intimidating,' they aren't equally useful.

50/50 gives you a 50% shot, but double dip only gives you a 33% chance of being right if your 1st guess is wrong. The only good thing about double dip is that if you're stuck between 2 choices, then use it.

If you are guessing then double dip is better. 50:50 gives you a 50% chance of guessing right. Double dip gives you a 25% chance of guessing right, but you have a second chance of guessing between three answers which is a 33% chance. Hence with double dip you have a 58% chance of guessing correctly.

They don't all have to vote. They're supposed to only vote if they know. If 5% of the audience know, only these 5% vote. Unfortunately there are a lot of ignorant people that are confident that they know things, when they don't

@@occono3543 You were so close. It was ATA. ATA was gone in 2019. PAF was gone in 2010, but brought back in 2020-2021. 50:50 was gone in 2008, brought back in 2015-2019, then again for 2020-2021.
