The Hostess is non-religious, as she stated. Atheism is a religion because it follows a philosophy. Just because someone doesn't have a religion doesn't make them atheist. You can have a belief in nothing and not care about the outcomes of things. Atheists still believe in an ideal and have a firm belief on the outcome of things. Basically, an atheist would say nothing happens after death and we just rot in the ground. No afterlife or anything. A non-religious person would say they don't know nor care to put any thought on what happens after death. It's not a philosophy, just the absent of putting any thought into one.

In Australia we are quite liberal due to diverse communities and religions so what this ad is trying to portray is despite all our different religious believes what unites is lamb which we love here in Australia. What you also have to understand is that the target audience of this ad is to Australians not Indians. Almost 40% of Australians are non religious in Australia and majority of religious people are very liberal. Many hindus eat meat here. Advanced countries such as Australia or any first world country are liberal even if they are religious so I can understand why you are so upset; you haven't lived in Australia and understood out culture.
