This is a timelapse of my latest build inspired by japanese architecture. I decided to give the build details more common in european architecture, but with the overall feel of japanese architecture.
The concept was to design a slim section as shown in the first clip, that could be repeated all the way around the build. The result of starting with a detailed section instead of the rough shape of the building was that the build got bigger than first intented, so the method has its pros and cons.

Old Post: A lot of people have asked for a tutorial for the rest of the build and to release the world download. I haven't been sure on how to move forward since all this is very new to me. Originally I only wanted to make videos of my builds told as a small stories like my " Tale series" but things like timelapses are also fun to do etc.. I've decided to continue with the tutorial for the rest of "The Autumn Castle". Even though I didn't start out with the wish of doing tutorials I think it can be a learning experience for me and it makes me happy that you appreciate them. I will divide the tutorial into multiple videos like the first one and make a playlist and maybe I'll release other videos in between just to mix it up a bit. I hope you'll have patience. When it comes to downloadable worlds I want to start a patreon where subscribers will have access to my builds. I also want to release some free stuff but I want to have the bigger builds on patreon. I have been working a lot on these videos since I started on KZbin and I only did it because I had the time between work projects. I actually did it to learn video editing which has always been a hurdle for me, and trying it now I regret not doing it sooner. There are other work projects coming up so there will be times with longer pauses between uploads, but I have no intent whatsoever to stop making videos. I would be so so happy if I one day could make this my primary job, but this is not something I'm holding my breath for, The next video will be out today and a timelapse of the same build will follow soon. Anyway, I'm really happy with all the feedback and really appreciate all the awesome comments. Thank you so much! :-)

I like that the materials used in this build aren't difficult to get; the quantity is daunting, but this is something you could conceivably build in the early game, and I respect the simplicity of the material selection.

Holy Shoot this is one of the best builds I've ever seen! It's these types of builds that inspire me to well, build! Your use of stairs and wood to make that building featured at 2:05 is really satisfying. Another thing is the use of calm atmospheric music to make the video more relaxing though, I found it more relaxing to see you use World Edit to piece the builds together. With your skills, I don't have much to criticize other than a Good Job! 10/10. Another thing that amazes me is that you use certain blocks that not many KZbinrs use such as birch to make your build more special. One thing I would recommend is building a harbor or dock to add more of an imperial feel as if the castle is the main fortress where goods come in and out. Other than that your build is amazing!

@R I M I Chinese and Japanese architecture are very similar. Plus, the builder here was going for more of an eastern fantasy vibe than for 100% historical accuracy anyways

There are a lot of superficial similarities with existing architecture, but if you look closely it differs in a lot of ways, especially with chinese architecture. A lot of the details like facades, the wall walkway etc. are not really chinese or japanese. It is first and foremost a fantasy build inspired by japanese wooden temple design with a lot of nordic european medieval mixed in. I made a video about it called "Build Ideas for The Autumn Castle".
