@@tunit20 actually it kinda makes sense. Forest just turned into Zombie and so his brain still might have some conscious left. In RE Outbreak games you can still talk while turning into zombies. Throougout RE games like keepers diary in RE1 and the Ship Captain of RE Revelations that they write weird messages in their diary during their transformation stage of being a zombie. So it's very possible that Forest turned into a zombie and can't control himself but has a little bit of wit left to talk and plead for death.

Forest was Chris' best friend and I wish we saw more of S.T.A.R.S. in general before the Mansion Incident. I would love to see a flashback in a CG movie or something where S.T.A.R.S conducted some of their most regular operations, like a shootout against criminals. The best S.T.A.R.S interactions thus far was Chris and Wesker taking on Lisa Trevor. Another cool detail in the Remake was how sad Chris was after finding Forest's corpse, it looked like he was about to cry but kept it together.

I always figured that Forest helped someone escape though the open window that you see across from him above the bench. Given that he was injured and couldn't fit, he waited there for help which is why he is in a sitting position but died from blood loss and the crows pecked at his remains. It explains that after looking at his body and going to get the green herb. Forest awakens as a enhanced zombie already.

That's true, if you go into the room with the Stuffed Deer, there's a scratch on the wall and when you examine it, it says "It doesn't look like the work of those rotting freaks." Only a Hunter prior to Chris venturing in the area could have done that and the initial confrontation could have been between Forest with his Grenade Launcher vs Hunters as the first Hunter encounter came near the East Staircase meaning the Hunter pens were likely in the Residence part of the estate at the East side, Forest is found in the East Terrace of the Mansion not far off.

Kenneth and Forrest aare my favorite Bravo team memebers. I have a two theories on the blood trail from the first game: 1.) he was bitten by a Cerberus and made his way upstairs to after he got in the mansion (this means that Bravo team entered the mansion in different locations) 2.) Forrest, Enrico and Kenneth got into the mansion entrance like Jill, Chris and Wesker did. They split up after Enrico "disappeared" and he was attacked by a zombie in the hallway parallel the terrace and thinkin he'd be safe from said zombie or group of zombies, made his way into the terrace where he was attacked by crows

One aspect about the original Resident Evil is that throughout the experience Jill and Chris will come across most of the other S.T.A.R.S members that have already been killed or that die before their eyes. I actually read the Instuction Booklet for Resident Evil: The Director's Cut. It provides us with images and descriptions of each of the S.T.A.R.S Team Members. With that, it allows the player the option to develop somewhat of a personal connection to these S.T.A.R.S Members if the chooses to do so because the members each have different personality traits and skills.

I mean let's be real here, I don't care how great of a marksman you are, sniper skills aren't really going to do you much good when you have a swarm of enemies attacking you at once. Unless you're able to freeze time, a sniper rifle ain't really going to do much good against an entire murder of crows (and yes, a flock of crows is technically called a "Murder"...isn't that convenient).

It's important to note that Forrest was the first ever person in Resident Evil to rise from the dead as a zombie. Prior to the release of RE2, we had a decent understanding of how the T-Virus worked but didn't understand everything. We know that the "A" variant of the virus was an airborne pathogen which when inhaled caused people and animals to rot and decay from within and eventually lose their mind and become a zombie. The only other examples of T-Virus being used was in the various experimental creatures like Yawn, Neptune and the Hunters, which were purposefully created by Umbrella. One could then assume that the virus only infects living people and creatures, turning them into zombie-like creatures. Forrest was the first person we ever see be infected by the virus and rise from the dead, setting the standard for how the virus acts for the remander of the series.

For me my theory is that Forest was seriously injured by the hunter type enemies in the mansion, so at that moment, Forest's life bar was in the red, so he went to the hall to find help. another member of the team, but there was no one from the team, well done, so then he opens the balcony door and comes face to face with the infected crows. Since he was too injured and weakened, the crows killed him. Otherwise special mention for Kenneth, he managed to last a day to survive, with a few minutes, he could have found the members of the alpha team.

I remember that in the original dependent of your character when you get to Forest either would have crows and Forest was dead or there was no crows and he was a zombie. Soo i don't think that the crows killed him. Even when you are in danger if you enter that room you can go all the way and back and not get kill by the crows so i think he was hurt enter the room sit down and died then the crows started to eat him.

You know I think that's very plausible, Forest could've been attacked and severely injured by what I believe to be a combination of Hunter, Cerberus and Zombie attacks, in desperation he ran out to the 2nd Floor Balcony and locked the door behind him which is why it's locked in REMAKE, he sets down the Grenade Launcher and slumps down into the chair where he slowly bleeds out and dies from his injuries then the crows start to eat him, or it's possible that they attacked him before he died because of the T-Virus infection, the crows would've been much more aggressive than usual

In orginal resident evil I assumed Forest was on the roof because he was the teams sniper. I mean if it was me its probably where I would have gone. I'd assume he set himself up in a good position where he could see the most and got blind sided by the crows while he was setting up.
