The aviary’s lore explained

(Spoilers btw) I think the steward was training to be a guide (or something) when the darkness fell and he got stuck as a spirit thingy outside of the Aviary walls. He is understandably lonely. When we went through Eden, we finally returned some of the people to the world, but since they're obviously dead they can only return to the Sky world as spirits. So basically, we freed the people from being trapped in the darkness, but now they want to come back down bc they've completed Orbit. I agree that the Aviary used to be a trading center/village of some sort, and it's very possible that the steward is the guy from the two embers trailer. and yes, i think aurora is the orbit elder and resh is the eden elder. that was really long lol.

My theory is that, as one of the Embers, Beyt (I call them that because it means "home") has the strongest connection of all to the Megabird. Beyt's official name is the Hopeful Steward. Steward means a person in charge of an area or one who looks out for the people of said area. This seems to be similar to the job of the Elders of each province of Sky. But then where is the Steward's mask? All the provinces have the mask of the Elder featured on their portal. Even Resh's crown is on the Eden gateway. Beyt doesn't have a mask on their portal... or do they? Look closely at the Aviary's portal. While it may not have a mask, it does have a pattern engraved where the mask would be. In both concept art and the actual image shown in the Vault's secret area, the Megabird looks EXACTLY like the engraving. Beyt's entire theme is based on birds. The feathers in their hair, the name *Aviary* Village- it all matches up. Beyt is either the Megabird incarnated, or Resh's counterpart, a child of Light connected to the Megabird with a bond even stronger than the King's. Another thing i want to cover is the village itself. Aviary Village's description is "a hidden refuge, lost to time." A refuge. A place of hiding. Hidden by the clouds, by magic, by the megabird- who knows? But it is clear what it was hiding from. When the corruption began, Resh probably set out to destroy Beyt, as they were a living connection to the Megabird. Beyt, favored by the people if not by the elders, built a place of refuge, in an attempt to protect the ancestors and their friends. You'll notice that the aviary is the only place in Sky that doesnt have any winged light (which is, what i believe, a trace of Resh during his younger days of journeying Sky. Resh was never there. However, the aviary doesn't seem to be exactly hidden anymore. The spirits are in corrupted shells, and trapped, bound to the earth. The refuge was lost. The clouds were parted. Resh's forces descended on the aviary, attacking and killing the ancestors. Even though the avairy is much safer from the corruption than most areas, there is still a single plant hidden near the now apartment building. Beyt was aware of the power of Sky kids. They knew immediately. They're the one that called us from the stars- the one who created the mural seen at the beginning. They've known our fate, our potential. They've been our guide all along.

i dont think their gender matters. none of the spirits' genders matter. you can call them he she or they whatever you want. most spirits are referred to as they, so its most likely up to each individual's interpretation!

The lore of sky is in shambles rn. I feel like they are throwing it away just to make things more convenient. Instead of sticking to the lore that the spirits in Sky are actually DEAD, and the whole point of the game is to return them to the stars... NOPE, not anymore. Now, they are just like regular people for some reason or another😂. And although i love the season of Lil Prince and aurora, i absolutely hate that they have a permanent place in Sky. With each consecutive collab, it just makes the lore more fragile. Like, wtf is this famous music star doing in the world of sky? Is she like a goddess or something? I dont get it. And based on tgcs' recent actions, it seems they are gonna be doing more collabs instead of seasons that fit with the lore. Idk that's my stance on it. I'm sorry to rant. Your video is great ❤❤

Lol yeah, they lore just keeps on getting crazier and crazier all for the sake of content, but at least sky the two embers might finally start setting the lore straight

Aurora is the person who sang the song in Orbit. And in the season, yeah she is kind of like a goddess. From what it looks like during the concert, she brought the people and creatures of light to life and land. Then the people started forgetting the light and started hunting creatures for what seems to be straight up capture and labor use. The war in front of the Wasteland temple (Which btw Wasteland wasn't always polluted like it is now, I'm guessing that also happened after they forgot the light. Isle is also a dead desert now.) was against the creatures of light who were fighting back. Then after it was all over, the Goddess started taking their spirits to the stars, which is where we go in the end of Orbit. As we see while playing, some are still stuck in darkness like a sort of purgatory trap that we were sent to free them from and help them return to the light. The spirits are also still dead, but just some walking among us, like ghosts. I really dunno why that is though, I hate it too. Maybe it's because they have unfinished business or something? Like how in older quests, after the finale, they all turn to balls of light and float up to the sky. Maybe them remaining is a choice, or they're staying to help other lost spirits. TLP definitely doesn't fit at all though, other than him wanting to return to the stars and his asteroid and rose in his own story.

Ofc I probably left some stuff out too, but from what I'm remembering and my view of it, that's what happened. Makes sense that the voice singing in Orbit would be the goddess' as well, so that also fits Aurora in.

I feel like the prince was originally supposed to rule over this realm, but because he instead took over Eden, this realm became abandoned, and overrun by a giant dark plant. The only person to discover this place was the Hopeful Steward, who strove to maintain this forgotten land until the cataclysm.

I think it is possible that he is the guy from the two embers, and he escaped to this villiage were ppl from different realms created this villiage as a safehouse maybe, for anyone to hide from the corruption of eden Just a theory I through together by watching this, it might be wrong but just a thought :)

hheeheheelppp is it just me or is the aviary like really dark and empty at the start? like i just joined on the pc demo and it forced me into this place like i cant go to the other home (ps i have played before but that was on the nintendo switch like..monthhsss ago so) and theres no portals or anything to go thru and neither does it tell me where to go...also the spirit from the start + the other one like they entered their home thingy but theres nothing inside :,) its just darkness..

maybe the hopeful steward is another piece of Resh, thats why he has a similar mask to us. then becuase of corruption and things, his home that he landed on when falling from the sky (aviary) got corrupted, thus explaining the dark plants and all that. so he left or smth, and when we came, he knew we were like him, another piece of resh;btw maybe he dosent have the diamond shape on his chest, (which is our light, bc if u notice when u get a candle, u get it from ur chest, and the diamond dissapears) bc he got halfly corrupted too ig in aviary? and bc of that he lost his light? and he thinks we can help him restore aviary? also probably before aviary got corrupted he was friends with the guides, thats why they acted like his best friend. now what’s the purpose of the guides? i think they are like “village leaders” so the seasonal spirits were their village ppl, and the seasonal area is their village? and then i thinj the hopeful steward is good friends with them bc he is also a village leader, of avairy. now he looks so sad when u arrive at aviary bc i think during the corruption his adopted parents died? bc when he fell from the sky, aviary was already a village. now i think the one who adopted him was the village leader, thus why he became village leader next before the corruption. also, remember the avairy festival? i think the staff that was used in the fireworks festival is passed down to village leaders, such as himself. idk, maybe he/she is just actually part of the two embers’ lore. lets wait and find out. im possibly wrong🤷‍♀️

This made me remind to a time that I thought Megan is also Resh👽but then I knew that these 2 names r 2 difference person n the most similar between them is they both got removed- I tried searched for "Megan" n found a ref of grey Skykid with Sky old cape with Resh mask (if Im correct) n the ref was the thing made me thought Megan is Resh. But then I searched more abt Megan, then I knew that Megan is Megabird. Which is the creator who made Skykids n other creatures, Resh ofc the Eden elder👌

(Cmiw im just a butterfly and im really into game lores) cause if im saying this right, the map in aviary infront of the map altar thing theres like a place where we are and a map of eden and the other kingdoms in it.
